I have the Orlando Entertainment Book for this year, and I know there a lot of deals for the Orlando area, but I was wondering if people could post what they have found deals for (whether in the book or printable online coupons) inside Disney World. I know someone on another board mentioned that there is a 2 for 1 coupon you can print for Ghirardelli and I found a printable coupon for $5 off a $20 purchase at Planet Hollywood. Anyone else know of any?

I know you can use the McDonald's coupons from the book at the McDs in DTD. I called to check.

You can print an online coupon for Ghirardelli for a free hot fudge sundae with the purchase of one. Ghirardelli is located in DTD.

Use your card and get a 2-for-1 Lunch or Dinner Entree (up to $22 value) at Baskervilles in the Grosvenor Hotel near DTD.

You can show your card at the All Star Café in Disney's Wide World of Sports to receive a 2-for-1 Lunch or Dinner Entree
(up to $12.00 value).

Get a 2-for-1 Lunch or Dinner Entree (up to $16.00 value) at the Giraffe Café in the Hotel Royal Plaza (a DTD hotel) by showing your card.

There's a coupon in the book for $5 off a purchase of $20 or more at Planet Hollywood in DTD. The coupon is good on food or merchadise but excludes alcohol.

There are probably more but that's what I could find right now.

Not in Disney, but close by.... ::yes:: Use your card for free meal at Jungle Jim's or so thats what they gave us when we showed our card... sometimes we've gotten 20% off as well.

I don't have the Orlando book, I have my local book and card, so I'm wondering if I show my card, if it will work for the above deals. Do you know? I wonder if all the cards look the same or if they are different for each area.

Thanks for any info you may have!

Donna

Are you talking about the Orlando Magic card? I have one of those but haven't used it.

I have Orlando 2004 book and went to site and only see an offer for 20% of a Giorddelli's. Where did you find free sundae.:earsgirl:

oops just went on again today and saw the offer. Earlier in the week after my book arrived(Tues) they only had 20% off order. Wonder if that is still good too?

Any 2004 Entertainment Card will do, as long as you have not used that particular restaurant's number for one of your local establishments. For instance, the All Star Café is Card No. 16 and Baskervilles is Card No. 65 in the Orlando book. As far aas I can tell, all cards look the same.

Hi,

I have been trying to plan a trip to WDW. We live in Alaska and military family of 4. I was wondering what codes people are talking about. Points systems and where would be the best place to stay. Would it be better at shady greens and so is it on wdw. how is disney setup, am I buying pass for the whole park or certain park:confused:

Hi GBsMom and welcome to the DISboards!

You've asked a lot of questions and I'll try to help if I can. You may also want to post your questions in new threads so that you'll get more responses.

First of all, the codes that many people refer to, are room discount codes and package discount codes. Believe it or not, Disney does offer discounts, you just have to know where to find them and how to use them. The codes are usually announced a month or so ahead of time and they are usually good for a 2-month period.

Shades of Green (SoG) is the military-only resort located on Disney property. The room rates are based on a number of factors. Our family is not military but I'm sure that there are some other military families on these boards that can give you better insight.

You can buy single-day passes for the individual parks but you would probably be better off buying the Park Hopper passes. PHs and PHPs allow you to move between parks within a single day without having to pay an additional admission charge. They are available for discounted prices at SoG.

You find learn more about SoG at their website:
Shades of Green
They have room rates and park ticket prices listed there.

The coupons I have seen that you can print online at the entertainment.com site are only good for 14 days from the day you print them.

I will be in DTD for one day in December and would be very interested in discount coupons/cards but have no idea where to get them.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way I can print the Ghiradelli coupon online using my NT state entertainment book? Is it jsut a website and you type in your entertainment #? can someone tell me the site and I can give it a try? thanks.

go to www.entertainment.com and sign in

I have the Orlando book and once I registered it I was able to search and find coupons for my local Baltimore area so it doesn't hurt to try. There is information in your book about how to register it online. Let me know if it works :)
