Entertaining guest without going to the parks

Hi All,

We have friends staying with us the first week of April. They want to do only AK. They've done the other parks even though it's been a few years. I tried explaining to them how much things have changed but they're not interested in anything but AK (they haven't done AK yet).

Any idea what else there is to do in the area without going to the parks?

I already have a few ideas. Downtown Disney. Boardwalk, Citywalk, a picnic at Lake Eola. I-Drive. Downtown Orlando (that'll be fun! ) Orlando Premium Outlets (gotta get some shopping in somewhere!). Maybe a baseball game.

Any other ideas?
