How does anyone keep them selves amused on the plane espically people from england. we have seat back tvs but im scared that there wont be anything to watch.

Also what does everyone wear for the flight?

Hiya!

Well usually I buy about 3 or 4 magazines, ie Ok, Closer etc, then I will bring about 3 books, one is usually a Harry Potter book. Also a Nintendo DS is also useful! But there will be something you like on the TV, if not you can listen to the radio channels. Also on some planes in economy (I think its BA) you can play games on the TV screen like solitare, space invaders etc. On virgin I THINK you have to pay but I'm not sure.

As for clothes, definately jeans. Also a hoodie or a jacket, it can get quite cold on the plane. Also use the flight socks, they rock and are so comfy

Who are you flying with? If its BA, I know 100% that 1 month before you leave for Florida, you can check what movies will be showing on the plane by going on the website

we are flying virgin from gatwick so i will also have a 2 hour drive down to gatwick. i am going to take my ipod but i can never listen to music on the plane. i am plaaning to buy loads of mags as buy then end of flight i will now them back to front.

i didnt know weather to wear jeans as it might be quite hot when we land but do u reccomend boardshorts.

Bring your Ipod, magazines, books, small crafts, etc.
I just wear a really nice dress and 5 inch heels on air planes.

I bring a book, and maybe one magazine to flip through. I also talk to my parents and the people around me a lot during the flight.

I wear simple things. Don't get dressed up for a flight. Last time I just wore simple denim bermuda shorts and a t-shirt and flipflops.

Virgin always has something on the TV. There's about 10 movies and 6 channels with comedy, kids stuff, documentaries, etc. plus there are games to play like golf, pinball, tetris, etc.

Otherwise, I bring a book, some paper and pens, sudoku puzzles and other things i can remember...

I only have a 2 hour flight, so I only bring my iPod and a book or magazine. But since you have such a long flight, I'd bring music, books, magazines, and anything else that would keep you entertained, like Suduko or a Gameboy or whatever.

And this was a couple years ago, but when I flew over to France, they had some pretty good and recent movies playing. I think you have a pretty good chance of a good movie playing when you're flying over. And if not, even a really bad movie will keep you entertained if you are desperate. Haha!

Definitely wear layers. Sometimes the airplanes are really cold sometimes they get really warm. So I'd wear a t-shirt and a hoodie and then a pair or jeans (or whatever). If it's cold, the hoodie will keep you warm. And if it gets hot, you can take the hoodie off and be comfy.

Well, we usually get to Florida around lunch time, so I usually wear what I plan on wearing that day. Meaning not jeans.

I wear 3/4 jeans a t-shirt and a sleeveless jacket or a thin jacket and trainers for flying too America( but that's in summer and i boil at the other end.)
I flew with virgin, there is always something on the TV's it has to be the quickest 9 hours ever.
Buy magazines, books, bring colouring(oh yeh i do that), Ipod, a phone if you have one with flight mode, sweets and food(because airplane food makes me sick) oh and card games or any small games you can play on the trays.

It's a 4 hour drive to Gatwick so we end up staying in a hotel in London for a night.

thanks defo bring mags,ipod and books. i have just found out how to check what is going to be on the flight next month and what sort of tv programmes they show. they show suite life of zack and cody i think that will keep me amused for 9 hours.

Dress comfortably but make sure to bring a sweater it might come in handy. If you have a tv in the backseat I doubt you will get bored but just in case bring an iPod, books, magazines, card games .
