Entering the park..

Quick question!

If you're entering the park for the first time using a set of tickets, can you go in using the monorail entrance or do you have to go in through the main gate?

Our first day at DL is Dec 3 and our plan is to grab lunch at EOS then entering the park between 230-4pm. Our plan may be different if we have to go in through the main gates so just curious!!

You can go in through the monorail entrance. They will take your picture if you have a multiday ticket at the monorail entrance.

Yup, Monorail entrance is the just like the Main Gate park entrance or GCH to DCA park entrance and you can use it on your first entry as we *** re-entry.

Just a note, many times the Monorail entrance is limited to Disney Hotel Guests with a room key. Especially in the morning hours.

It's not our first trip, but it's my sisters first time in a while. The main reason I'm considering it is we might be getting there right in the middle of the Christmas Parade but not early enough to actually watch it in full so we don't really want to spoil it. I figure if we know the parade is going on then it might be a great time to get into Tomorrowland!

There is usually a PhotoPass CM at the front entrance by the flower Mickey face. If you arrive during the parade, that would be a good time to wait to have some fun photos taken of you and your sister at the start of your visit.
