Entering Epcot for Dinner Only?

I would suggest eating at Flying Fish (great seafood) on the Boardwalk or Il Mulino at Swan. If you want a steak, Yatchsman is supposed to be very good.
If you don't mind going to a different resort, Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing.

The upgrade cost to go from a 4-day pass to a 5-day pass is something like $15. Epcot is my favorite park, so I think adding a day to the pass to enjoy another day in Epcot is definitely worth it. Dinner at the Biergarten in Epcot might save enough compared to eating at Flying Fish or Yachtsman Steakhouse to pay for the park admission.

ok, so it sounds like we should forgo upgrading just for the sake of dinner in Biergarten. Maybe to make it worth it we should add the day at the park guest services. Then go to Epcot for the DAY before we meet the grandkid, they are 5,2 & 1 )
. Im sure there's plenty to do that day for the two of us that we wont be able to do with the grandkids. Does that sound like a good idea?

I think that sounds like an excellent idea. I hope you have great time. I think it would be a wonderful walking around the WS just the two of you and ha e either lunch or dinner at Biergarten.
