I was reading about Diagon Alley on the Touring Plans website and it said that when it's busy, park goers will receive a ticket with a return time. Should I expect this in October when I go or will I be able to walk right in?

I've been reading a lot of threads about Diagon Alley and it doesn't sound like this return ticket procedure is in place...

I just got back from Universal, and we visited Diagon Alley multiple times every day this past week (22nd through 28th). Never once did we see any kind of "return ticket". We always just walked right in, regardless of the time of day. I really can't expect it'll be any different in October, than it was in August. So, no worries! :goodvibes

Now, if you want to ride the Gringott's ride without a lengthy wait, you WILL need to get to the gates at least 45 minutes before Early Entry. We showed up at 7am for an 8am Early Entry last Tuesday. They let us through the gates at 7:30am, and walked us directly to the ride. We were in the first group to ride, and were able to hop right into the single rider line for a second ride immediately after that. By the time we were done our second ride, the wait time was saying 55 minutes, the single rider line was backed up, and we were done for the day.

Thanks for the quick reply! It alleviated my worries a bit because I hope to spend most of my time in the Wizarding World!

They haven't needed the return tickets lately. In peak times ( like Christmas ) they probably will go back to that, but for October, doubtful. You shouldn't have issues getting into Diagon alley, but you will still have very lengthy, unpredicatable wait times for Gringotts.Use Single rider if it is open and you can .

I also was there from the 20-25 and could enter Diagon Alley at anytime, without a return ticket. Someone here suggested seeing it at night, and they were right. It is really beautiful at night
