they used to send an email listing to a contact at each school. they don't do that any longer. they have a thing online that is constantly updated that a school contact has access to. which is good since a school could have a few people do the epresentation weeks/months before or after a campus presentation. the school is asked to verify that the person is enrolled and taking classes and meets whatever requirements the school may have (GPA, major, credit hours, etc.)
disney depends on the schools to provide accurate information.
if the school says that someone isn't enrolled there, then that persons recruiter will call them to talk about it. like to see if they put down the incorrect school
if a school says that someone doesn't meet their requirements, they are also contacted about that too.
source of my info: I asked college recruiting directly and a good friend of mine used to work in recruiting.
plus people not in school could be those who already graduated, were in school when they applied and interviewed and took a semester off during their program, or on another program that doesnt require college enrollement like careerstart. yeah, there are probably a few who slip by, but they are really the exceptions.
my friend told me about an arrival where they had someone show up who had been told several times that they could not participate. housing sent the guy over to the recruiting office who then told him to head back north.
