I have made ressies at Chefs and Le Cellier for lunch during our stay. We are on a tight budget but want to fit these into our stay. Are the lunch portions big enough to share?

It really depends on how much you eat. For me and my husband, we always share. Sometimes we will both get a salad and split the main meal.

If you find you are still hungry, you can always grab a snack later.

We typically share at most restaurants in Disney. Especially for lunch, when we are that active we really don't want a heavy meal in the middle of the day. For myself, DH, DD10 and DS8 we typically order either one app or one dessert and two entrees for the four of us to share. We have always had PLENTY of food.

I've never really noticed an obvious difference in portion size between lunch & dinner. I would think you'd be fine to share.

I agree with TAKitty, you can always grab a snack :mickeybar later.

We found the portions huge when we were there in Jan on the DxDDP. However at the Le Cellier I had the Mushroom Fillet and I ate every bite, I will not be sharing :rotfl: But Yak & Yeti had the biggest portions I've ever seen. We haven't tried France.

I'll be the lone dissenter then. Maybe it's because I've got very tall (6'2+) teenage boys but I've yet to find a spot where we can share and be satisfied. My dh and I are pretty routine eaters (at least I think) the two times we went to Le Cellier it was for dinner, since we generally don't do big lunches by the time dinner rolls around we're hungry.

We could share but we would not both be full or maybe I should say in about 60 mins some one would want some thing to eat.

For us we each need to order our own....no way am I sharing my filet from LC!

I went to Le Cellier this month. I would say their lunch portions are not big enough to share unless you have small appetites.

Just at chefs for dinner, the duck portion was quite large but the escargots are too good to share!!! Swiped every bit with the bread!!

My husband is a big guy so he will most likely get his own and me and the kids will share.

I think it depends on what you get, but I think the steaks at le cellier for lunch are on the small side and not really shareable unless you are a very light eater. Some places are very easily shared as they have big portions - like LTT at MK.
