Hello,
Let me start by saying I have never been to IOA but have been to US once a few years ago.

This year before our Disney cruise we were hoping to hit both parks. We are staying two nights at the Royal Pacific before the cruise. Do you guys think it is feasible to attempt to go to both parks or would i be wasting my time (and money!)?

You see this is a very special trip for us as my nephew from Malta (who has never seen anything like this) will be joining us and I want to really wow him.

Any advice would really be appreciated!

Thanks.
Mary

You will have front of the line access since you are ataying at RP. You should have no problems seeing both parks. Go and enjoy! Your nephew will be WOWed!

I agree with FOTL u will be fine and staying so close u can hop from park to park and hotel:jester:

Mary, the walk from RP is about 7 minutes, then the walk btw the parks is less than 5. You can do a lot in 2 days and don't miss USO, they've got a lot of new things you haven't seen if you haven't gone lately. I stayed at RP 2 years ago, loved it! Walk over to HRH and check it out, its also beautiful. Have a FUN!!

msr,
7 minutes? Wow, I didn't know that. I really can't wait for this trip to begin. Just by visiting the different websites I can see there have been many changes since my last visit.

We fly into Orlando around 11 and hope to be in the parks by 1ish. Traveling with us will be my Mom who is 71. I don't think she will be joining us at the Parks. Hopefully, she will find herself a beautiful spot at the RP and just relax. Although I really hate to leave her alone all day, I might have to leave our 11 month old with her to keep her company..;) Just kidding.

Mary, when I went with my Mom (who was 70 at the time) we stayed at HRH and she even walked to the parks from there. While she didn't do the rollercoasters she loved USO because there are so many shows she was able to watch. At IOA she mainly waited for me while I rode the rollercoasters but we did go see the 7th Voyage of Sinbad show, she went on Spiderman, Cat in the Hat, we saw the Grinchmas show. I did rent a wheelchair for her so it was easier for us to get around and she loved it. Maybe your Mom would be interested in doing that, they also have the ECV's which are very convenient (but my Mom was afraid of driving them). Hope you have a wonderful time.
