I'm stressed!!!!
Is $2000.00 US is enough for 1 week. We've paid for our hotel, We don't have our tickets for the park entrances yet (still deciding if a park hopper pass is worth our while) That would take a big chunk of our money (Myself, Husband & 2 girls - 3 & 4). We won't be eating out at fancy resteraunts (Rainforest once) and I was hoping for Character Dining once or twice.
Do I need more money-----------Help so I can relax and enjoy.
Thanks

Well, I think you should definitely get park hoppers because even if you dont hop, in the long run, it would be cheaper than single day tickets.

Since you said you were going for 7 days, I am going to assume there may be some travel time in there or, at the least, some down time at the pool. Your girls are pretty little so I would guess a water park is not quite in order yet and you probably wont end up at Pleasure Island, unless you plan on a sitter but you did not mention that so I wont include pluses. So looking at 5 day prepurchase tickets from the Disney store (and you can get these cheaper from some places but just for estimates sake)

2 Adults 244.95 X 2 = $489.90
2 Children 195.96 X 2 = $391.92

So that is $881.82.

You didnt mention whether you were renting a car or taking a town car but guessing town car, lets just say $120.00 including tip. So together that is about $1,000.00 for tickets and transportation.

You also dont mention whether you were planning on any parks outside of Disney but if you are not, and your budget for the week for food and souvenirs is $1,000.00, I think you will be fine. To get an idea of menu prices, try allearsnet.com

There are alot of variables that could come into play but to me, you would be doing great. :)

We usually take about $1,000 for meals, tips, spending money, etc. for a week. We are a family of 3 and usually we have some money left over! We also do about 3 or 4 bigs lunches/dinners during the week, the rest is counter service (and we don't feel like we're "cheating" ourselves out of anything).

I think your budget sounds pretty good!

I was also wondering on spending money we are going for 10 days and I plan on taking 1,000. everything is paid for except our one PS I do have back up funds if needed but we told our girls we aren't over spending like last time on all those souveniors. 3 days Disney 1 waterpark day and 4 days at Universal...
