Since we're travelling with an infant we really need a high chair at restaurants. Do we have to request them when making ADRs or are there always enough available?

I saw loads of highchairs in the corners of most restaurants. When you go to take your seat. Just ask kindly for a high chair. It should be no problem. Also for quick service restaurants. They, are readily available, just grab one. :thumbsup2

How old is the baby? The only high chairs I remember seeing were the wooden ones where they really need to be able to sit up. I can't swear they don't have any for really little infants, but I don't remember seeing any.

When you make your reservations, you'll be asked how many in the party, adults and children. They will also ask the ages of the children. You need to include your infant in the number of the party. At that time, you can request a high chair for the little one.

For counter service (quick service, fast food), there are high chairs in the seating area. Since you do have an infant, you can get your high chair and your table before one of you goes for the food. If, for some reason (I can't think of a single time this has happened), you cannot find a highchair, tell one of the Cast Members and they will find one for you.

Not sure about all, but many of the restaurants do have infant highchairs as well. The have a reclined seat similar to the infant seats on shopping carts.

I know for sure that they have them at Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill. HTH

We have never had a problem getting a high chair at table service restaurants. We just tell them when checking in and one appears at our table. Generally they ask when making the ADR's how old the kids are so they can usually figure out what is needed.
