Enjoyed "Club Cool" today

Are the cups that you get to make (with the character feet and hats) yours to keep for free after you have sampled a soda or two?

No, you get small paper cups for sampling. The cups with feet and hats are available for purchase at the stand that sells frozen coke, and build your own soda. If you look on allearsnet.com, you will see pictures that explain this (at least, I think I got it right...I haven't been there yet).

has anyone seen the car commercial where two guys look in the back of the vehicle and they're carrying a frozen cave man? Friend and I were wondering if Ice Station Cool Caveman got a new gig?

Hopefully the Ginger Ale is still available

Yea, I hope so too. It's handy to have when you feel a little sick from all the other samples.

Would it be sick and wrong to say that I am looking forward to trying it? :)
Not at all! Actually, it was a fun experience. Trying this and Beverly always makes me appreciate good old classic Coke! :teeth:

You explained it perfectly. You can make a "Goofy" cup, a "Stitch" cup, or a "Princess" cup (if I remember correctly). I suppose you could mix feet and tops (a Princess top on Goofy feet?). They looked nice, but we took a pass as we were already packed and didn't have much room left for these. Maybe next trip...

Thanks so much for all the info. about the cups.
Does anyone know how much they cost?
Thanks

I sure did! I think it's a Jeep commercial. Wouldn't it be interesting if they auctioned him off? I guess we won't be seeing the caveman character wandering around by the fountain anymore. :sunny:

Ohh!! I'm going to miss going through the igloo entrance. Do you think they will eventually reopen that part? It really isn't anything "special" if it just has a regular door. Well, at least they haven't gotten rid of our family treat...BEVERLY!

My friend's fiance is going to be so disappointed we missed the opening. We were there in October and it was still being refurbed. He loves that place!

Ice Station cool was my Fav on a hot day (only been in August and June :sunny: ) I fear it'll be a lot busier now that it is so much more noticable. *sigh* Good thing I'm going in January!! :cold:

OMG the Beverly was one of the best parts of our trip.:rotfl: :rotfl: Both kids had been little tyrants all week long and on our first day at Epcot we got them both to try this nasty drink at the same time. It was the hardest I laughed and it was great enjoying the "revenge". DH and I had been planning for weeks on how to get them to drink it and their reaction was as expected. Wish DH had gotten there pics. After I recovered from my laughing fit I took a little taste just to see how bad it was and trust me that stuff is awful. How anybody can enjoy drinking something that bitter is beyond me, and the taste lingers in your mouth, even after drinking some other weird flavor. It was one of the highlights of DH's and my vacation.

I am really puzzled about the Beverly. I had to try it after reading about it here, but it wasn't the least bitter. I had my husband try it, and he agreed that it was sweet, not bitter. So I don't know if we just happened to get one that was hooked up to the wrong source and not Beverly after all or what.

We went in there last week, and in answer to the above, no there is no plastic strips now, and some of the sodas are very drinkable, although beverly was not on my drinks list ;)

DS so wanted to see this when we were there in Nov. He was really disappointed it was closed. I am glad it has reopened though. We will definitely hit it on our next trip!
