what did you have engraved on your rings and why???? I am so confused on a quote or saying to put on the inside of the rings. Help please.

We are trying to decide still as well. We are either doing the Orlando & New York (that's where we're going after the wedding) airport codes or the wedding date 01/21/2010

We are *borrowing* Lurkylou's idea, we are each going to SECRETLY have the other's ring engraved and it will be revealed at our ceremony!! How romantic, right?? I LOVE this idea!!

We're also going with keeping it secret fom each other until the ceremony. I didn't even peek when I picked mine up the other day.

For his though, I debated.

Part of me really wanted "Put it back on". He is more sentimental where as I am a bit of a smartA&% so, it would be appropriate.

But, since our ceremony has a bit of celtic element to it, I went with the meaning of the Claddagh- Love, loyalty and friendship. followed by the weddig date. But I did it in Gaelic, so it reads:

Gra, Dilseacht, Cairdeas 1/17/10


It was suggested to me to put something that is a word or a phrase that is an inside joke b/w us, or something I say frequently to him, but "Why don't you like fun?" ( from the comcast commercials w/ the turtles) didn't seem to fit somehow.

I SOOO love that. We are both BIG saps, so I'm sure her's will be JUST as mushy as mine. I'm having, "My Forever Love 10/10/10"

It's a phrase we use often,again, we're mushy!
