English Toffee No More!!

That's good that you can order - if you live too far to drive. But if you're close, this little shop is really cool. We're talking old school with creaking floors and a heavenly smell. Also, if you come to Columbia, you can get some Columbia Soda Works sarsaparilla. If you're a root beer fan like I am, this has a really good tart taste. It really completes the whole candy adventure. Right now, I'm thinking I should take a trip next week. I've talked myself into it!

You've inspired me as well! With all of the closures at DLR next year, we are taking some time off from Disney and plan to do a lot more weekend camping trips next year. I plan to stop by Columbia on our way to Pinecrest Lake.

I wonder why Disney can't offer it without nuts, or use a different type of nut. Perhaps pecans.

We discovered this last month and were told that they were having supplier issues. Everywhere we looked, they were chock full of peanut brittle. EVERYWHERE. And that was pretty much all they had outside the case. They are also missing some case things at the Candy Palace due to the same supplier issues. It is sad. We get our craving filled from Trader Joe's English Toffee which is pretty good as well. But we miss getting and enjoying the Disneyland version.

Well as disappointed by this news, kinda happy they are sticking to their standards

I love toffee (never had it from DL though), but I respect that they won't make it without the high-quality ingredients they usually use. Hopefully the almond crops will recover and the toffee will return.

Yes, peanut brittle everywhere! We have noticed this all week. Bummed we can't get the toffee but leaves room to try other tasty treats!

Oh no!
The English toffee from Littlejohn's at the Original Farmers Market in LA is our all time fave, followed by Disney, followed by Trader Joe's......

The English Toffee that Sees sells is pretty good, too. I've been so spoiled between Disneyland and Sees. A couple of months ago I got some Almond Roca, which I've always enjoyed, and I took a bite, and realized that my taste for this treat has become very discriminating. lol

The candy shop on Main Street had tons of pumpkin spice brittle for sale. I didn't buy any but I kind of wish I had, it looked pretty good.
