Hi!! :wave: I just wanted to share some info I thought might help others out. I just got back from a wonderful 10 day trip and my DBF proposed at Sunset Point at the Poly at night. It was so beautiful!

Anyways, I had scheduled an Engagement Photo Session before we left (I like to count my chickens before they hatch ;) ) at Epcot on 12/1 at 10 a.m. at the World Showcase. We arrived at the International Gateway where we met Brian (our photographer). We started at France where he put us in different poses around France and took pictures. He did this in every country doing 3-5 different poses in every country (ending in the U.K.). Most of World Showcase was closed to pedestrians (all of it was closed as far as the shops but people could walk through some of it to get to the International Gateway). Brian was great and it was fun taking the pictures. We even were able to climb over the fences and get better pictures in areas such as the Victoria Gardens in Canada. He took close up pictures of my engagement ring and a few individual pictures of us. The whole thing took a little over an hour.

When we were done he handed me a card with a User ID and password on it and told me my pictures would be up within 2 weeks. I purchased the package of 20 4X6 photos in an album for $295. He told me I would select the 20 pictures when they showed up online and then the 20 I wanted would go in the album and be delivered to me. He also told me that I could purchase additional pictures on the website.

Just wanted to share that information as there wasn't much available when I was researching it. I'll share my pictures as soon as they're available!! We're planning a January 2008 wedding at Disney!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the cost for the photoshoot. We've been toying with the idea of Engagement pics before the wedding, but I'd like to see how much they cost. Thanks.

Congrats on your engagement and your fortuitously planned engagement photos! Good to know I wasn't the only ones making wedding-y plans before the ol' ring was on the finger!

:rotfl2: I know! The photographer looked at me a little strange when I said we had just gotten engaged the night before. He asked me what I would've done if he hadn't proposed (and I was sweating it a little cause I thought he would've done it at the beginning of our trip). I told him "Well, I guess we would just have some nice pictures!" :teeth: (Also congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!!)

Thanks everyone for all of the Congratulations! We are very excited but I'm not very excited about the budgeting and planning :crazy2:

dznystar- Here's the info I got off of the Disney Wedding and Honeymoon website:

Honeymoon / Engagement photographic session- $295
Includes:

* Guided tour of the Disney Theme Park of your choice to determine a photo location. (Includes Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom park, Epcot's World Showcase, Tower of Terror at the Disney-MGM Studios, or The Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park)
* Twenty (20) 4x6 prints
* A beautiful white leather-bound album

(These sessions will be scheduled from park opening until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Session does not include admission to the park. Casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.)

I originally called the phone number on the wedding website but was transferred around and put on hold for awhile at different places so the direct phone number I was given to call back (I called too much in advance) was to Trina Elder @ 407-827-4265. I called in August for a December 1st date and she told me to call back in mid October and they schedule them then. Everyone was very nice.

She also told me that wedding attire is not permitted but you can wear nice clothes (such as skirt, nice top, etc.) or casual clothes. I opted for casual as we were heading to another park after the pictures.

Also for those that want to do a World Showcase photo session (and I mainly did because there's a better chance of no one being in our pictures as it's closed~but I was told that if you choose the other locations they do their best to not have other people in the pictures and do photoshop the pics in the end ) you can take a bus, monorail, or park in the main parking lot and walk through Epcot and to the right of WS and walk to International Gateway. I was trying to get to the Boardwalk or BC as I thought that would be our only way to get to the International Gateway since World Showcase was closed. After speaking with a bus driver I found out that you can walk through Epcot to the International Gateway which saved us time transferring.

Awhile back I found a Disney website that had sample pictures of the Honeymoon/Engagement Photo Session but I can't seem to locate it now... :scratchin I'll keep looking! :banana: :banana:

Congrats! I had no idea you could do your photo shoot for the engagement at ALL the countries at World Showcase. That is so GREAT! Enjoy your planning and happy holidays. :grouphug:

Thanks! I didn't know that either. I thought I had to pick a country and pictures would be taken just at that country so I spent the whole day we were at Epcot previous to the Photo Session grilling my boyfriend about what country he thought was the most beautiful. He looked at me like I was crazy the 50th time I asked "So do you know which one you think is the most beautiful yet?" I was so excited to find out that not only did we get every country but we got several pics in each country!
