Did anyone have an engagement party? I would like to have one, but there is no way to get everyone together. DB's family is from upstate new york, mine is from Pittsburgh and DB and I both live in VA and go to VT. We have a lot of friends in VA, but also many just graduated, including our best friends. We want to have an inexpensive engagement party (like a cocktail party or something), but are unsure of the location to have it. We also are looking for something very inexpensive since we need to save everything for the wedding. Any ideas?
