Engaged!

Hey all! I have been "lurking" (and posting) on the Wedding blogs recently, and have talked to a few of you great ladies! I know it may have been a little "taboo" since I was not "officially" engaged, but! It finally happened!! DF (still so weird saying that!) proposed on Christmas Eve I probably wont start a PJ yet, since we dont plan on actually getting married until 2015, after I finish graduate school, get a steady job and all that, but I am just so excited!!

I really thought he was going to do it at Disney, but he didn't want to carry the ring around the park, through airport security, etc, you never know! But in just 4 days we will be in the World celebrating our engagement and I could not be happier!!!

I look forward to reading everyones PJs to get ideas as a now, "bride to be"!

congratulations!!! My fiance proposed the saturday before we went to Disney for the same reason! He didn't want to carry the ring around (and also, we were going with my family). We had an AWESOME trip though, and I think it was probably better that he did it before, otherwise I would have spent the whole trip waiting for it (i knew it was coming and had picked out my ring, lol).

Also, your ring is beautiful!! Mine is very similar, so i'm a little biased

haha!! I agree, since I really THOUGHT he was going to do it at Disney, I would have spent my whole trip wondering when he was going to do it, so I agree that I think it was better that he did it before!! Now we can enjoy ourselves, I wont be waiting, he wont be nervous the whole trip!

Thank you and it is, kind of, but it just gives us time to plan, save, finish grad school, etc.
