Ending A WDW Vacation

I wish we'd allow that one extra day to get some rest before going back to the "real world", but we don't. We always head home on a Sunday and get back in the swing of things the very next day.

We got back last night, and I'm so exhausted. But that's okay. DisneyWorld is well worth it.

We always come back home on a Friday so that we have the weekend to recover. We usually get 8 days of Disney fun so we get plenty!! I need those
2 days to unpack, laundry, groceries etc...& get used to being back in the
"real world". :)

Nope, no extra day for me. We get in form the train around 2am and I head off to work at 2:30am same morning. Then from 12 noon on, I can relax and unpack.

If it were up to me, I wouldn't leave at all.

im always exhausted and we have so much fun unpacking all our souvenieres
i hate going back to work-the more time at disney the better
so i say stay longer !!

Having a limited amount of vacation.. I stay at Disney as long as I can! Usually we drive down there, stay for Sun-Fri and then leave Saturday afternoon to drive home.

We usually go, go, go to the very last second. Our return flight doesn't land until after 11 p.m. But we also travel mid-week to mid-week; so the next day into the office isn't as pressing as it would be if it were a Monday. Maybe a half day (off) to be taken if behinds are really dragging the next morning due to post wdw vacation blues.

After our first three or four trips, we schedule a day in between before we return to work. I wish we did it from the get go.

Usually end up going to work the next day after getting home as I want to stay in Disney as long as possible lol. My next trip I am actually of for 4 days before going back to work :cool1:

I always give myself a day at home before going back to work from ANY vacation. To me, there is nothing worse than coming home and having to get ready for work in the morning! YUCK! :crazy2:
True, I sacrifice another day at WDW, but it's worth it to me, I schedule the latest possible flight out the day we leave...I don't care if the flight is at 11pm, I'd rather do that and have the next day at home, then have to trudge it in to work bright and early!

Even though it's hard for me to do, I leave Disney about 3 days before I have to go back to work. I need at least 2 days to rest, unpack, do laundry, and go grocery shopping. It's not until I get back home that I realize how much walking I've done!

In September, we left WDW early Thursday afternoon, and I went back to work on Sunday night. It was sad leaving early, but great to have all day Friday and Saturday to recoup! :thumbsup2
