Hey guys...through a series of circumstances we had to reschedule our June trip to WDW. We were orginally booked to stay at a 1 bedroom at BCV. When I had to call and reschedule our trip, there were no vacancies at BCV. With the gentle advising of a wonderful CM, we decided we would stay at the BC Concierge level.

I am really getting excited as we have about 3 weeks before our trip (first WDW trip). I was just wondering if you guys could give me some info on what exactly to expect on concierge level? Someone mentioned a schedule of snacks/food. Is there a site I can go to and get more info? I wondered what kind of food is there and also about beverages. Do they always have bottled water/sodas available or do we need to rent a refrigerator to keep things in?

Also, who is Amy I keep reading so much about? Do I need to call her? I got a letter in the mail a few days ago that had an access key(card) enclosed, but nothing else in the way of schedules. Also, do we tip the concierge CMs? If so, how much? And how much for the housekeepers?

One other question, are towels provided for the pool (SAB) or do we need to bring beach towels?

Sorry for all the questions but I feel like I'm in the dark right now! Just need to know what to expect! Thanks!

You will love BC concierge! All the staff are great -- especially the Mousekeepers. If you are lucky and get assigned to one of Carmen's rooms, you will be amazed by what she can do with towels!

Concierge snacks: there's food out practically all day. Breakfast offers cereals, donuts, pastries, muffins, rolls, bagels, juices, fruit, coffee, tea, milk. In the evening are cordials and lots of yummy desserts. I never checked during lunch, but in the afternoon there are chips, pretzels, cookies, lemonade, punch, coffee, sodas, etc. You can ask for water anytime -- they gave us a HUGE (32 oz.) bottle -- alas, it was glass and too big to haul around the parks. But it was great to come back to the room, grab some ice and drink that vs. the tastefully sweet WDW water. (BLECH!)

You don't need a fridge; there's almost always someone in the lounge who can give you cold soft drinks or water. If you don't see them, just knock on the counter or say hello! If they are unavailable for some reason, there'll be a sign on the door.

Tipping is voluntary. We left $1 - $2 per day per person for the Mousekeeper. Carmen always surprised us with towel animals every day she cleaned our room -- and we don't have kids! On our last day we left her a box of candy plus a bigger tip.

We worked with a couple of the concierge staff a lot and we bought them some gifts to say thank you. It's not required but my DW and I felt they went above and beyond to help us.

You can get towels at SAB. It's a terrific pool -- be careful ... once we went in, it was awfully hard to leave!

Have a super trip!

Hi there...

Besides the offerings mentioned by Eeyore - there is also hot and cold appetizers around dinner time - they even have things for the kids like mini hotdogs or mac&cheese.

Amy is one of the itinerary planners for BC/YC & BWI.. they will help with your PS's or any special requests you have.

Was there not a questionaire to fill out in the info pack you recieved? You can call 407-934-1448 and ask to speak with one of the concierge itinerary planners or fax them at 407-934-1487.

If you want Amy's email - let me know

BTW - tipping is not required for the housekeepers or the concierge CM's it is optional... I always tip the housekeeper though - they do a great job. I also brought some chocolates for the concierge staff.

Have fun planning your holiday
