My dd is going to sleep over a friend's house tomorrow. It is a pool/sleepover. I am assuming end of year kind of party(her birthday was a few months ago- dd was at that party too) So my ? is what can my dd bring??? It is a small party but she doesn't want to go empty handed. This is a full on fun food family- so snacks are out they will have that covered. When I asked what we could bring she said "just yourselves" but still a little something.. any ideas? I was thinking maybe pool toys?

I would suggest a fun pool toy, a game they could all play, or something else they could all do ( like hair wraps?) when they get tired of swimming. A movie would be nice, but it is hard to pick something everyone would like and no one has already seen.

how about those cheap (made of like a plastic material) leis? you can get a bag of them at a party store. the kids would probably get a kick out of them.

Hmmm....you don't happen to live in Maryland, do you? :)

My DD11 is also going to a pool/slumber party tomorrow to celebrate the end of the school year.

I've asked the mom what I could send with DD but she insisted "Nothing but your DD and a sleeping bag". So I guess I'm not sending anything.

Hope the girls have a great time!! We're supposed to have sunny weather, in the low 90s. :sunny:

LOL no we are in Western NJ. But that would have been funny. I guess it is just that pool party time of year. I like all the ideas- now to choose one.
