We can go to Royal Pacific for $180 or to Homewood Suites nearest to Univ. for $109 including bkfast

we are going for 3 nights just to go to Universal, no kids.

what would you do?

it's end of sept thu-Sat

thanks!!

Go to the suites... with the extra $71, saved, you and your significant other can buy tickets to Blue Man Group or go to one of the nice restaurants at City Walk. Never hurts to save a little money to later use it for more fun!

Personally, I'd take the RP.... Front of the line passes are just too good to pass up. If you are even THINKING about it, DO it! It is the BEST perk of ANY theme park and makes your vacation totally different. Granted, maybe it is slow enough during the end of September that you won't have to stand in an hour long line for anything.

I agree w/ Future and stay at the RP. We stayed there twice (once w/out kids) and can't beat the front of the line passes. We'll be there Sept.28th w/out kids again for HHN and bringing my bro inlaw and wife(they've never been). Plus it's a nice walk from RP to the parks and citiwalk.:thumbsup2

It really depends on your budget, if money is not much of an object the RP for sure. It is so nice to stay onsite and the front of the line pass with the room key is the greatest perk even though you won't need it as much that time of year should be fairly slow.

But if your on a budget, the suites. Crowds should be light enough to where it shouldn't be too big of an issue. But the experieenc in and of itself in staying on site is amazing. The hotel is awesome, and taking the boat into the park is so cool.

Here's another thought... stay 2 of the nights at the Suites, 1 of the nights at the RP... That way you get the vacation a bit cheaper, and you will get FOTL passes for 2 of your days (the check in and check out day of RP).

Parks are a ghost town at the end of September. You will not need EP. I'd be surprised if there's more than a ten-minute wait at the standby lines.

We always go ourselves at this time of year -- heading down this year 9/22 through 9/29 and happily staying offsite -- $129 for the week at a condo!

Have fun :)

there will be more crowds starting around 3ish on the friday/saturday hhn will be on at the end of sept.
