I'm so happy I ended up getting the Free Dining for the end of November into December. I can't wait. We ended up saving over $1550.00 in funds. That is just crazy.:woohoo::worship::banana:

Just wondering who else from Canada is going to Disney during the same time frame?

Good for you. I'm going November 30 to December 7. I can't wait either. How did you manage to get free dinning for that time of year? Did you get a pin code? Free dining would be wonderful. I'm so hoping that something comes out for that time.

we are going December 5th thru the 12th and I want to know, how did you get free dining during that time period?? Inquiring minds want to know lol

Hey Nat -- great minds think alike! I hope it isn't a PIN code cause i have yet to get one of those elusive beasts. Are you flying out of Hamilton or Pearson?

We're flying out of Buffalo actually. It's less than an hour from home and so much cheaper. I'm just waiting for Southwest to post their flights for that time frame. This is a mother daughter trip so it's just the two of us this time. We want to see the Christmas decorations.

I flew out of Buffalo a few years ago with my parents for my sister's wedding and it was as smooth as silk! couldn't beat the price. This time however, we have booked our flights with air miles so going thru Pearson. I can hardly wait i am so excited i love the parks during the Christmas season

No air miles, so Buffalo it is. You're right, it is so easy out of Buffalo. I hadn't flown in years and when we went last time it was just me and the kids. I was a little nervous but everything went great and I'm doing it again. Everytime I see the ticker I realize that the time will be here before I know it. I think my DD is getting excited. With 12 yr olds it's hard to tell sometime.

Got that right, heaven forbid they show that we have done something nice for them lol hang in it does get better, honest!

I agree about watching the ticker, mine has been up for almost TWO FULL YEARS and i am about ready to bust. Did you notice today that we can now make dining reservations on-line? That will be one less worry for me since i hate the phone :rotfl2:

:worship::worship:Please don't hate me. I was one of the lucky few that got a pin. I swear within minutes of getting it I was on the phone with Disney making plans. My original trip was $3634.00 Now I'm paying $1888.88. I saved over $1500.00; actually more like $1700.00 and plus I added an EXTRA day on top.:worship:

We went to Dinsey last December and I LOVED it. We usually go every year in September for the Free dining but I just had to see the Christmas decorations. The Castle is AMAZING and so is Hollywood Studios. Those are 2 things that can't be missed.

wow ihope I get that pin code we will be going down November 28 to December 5 on the disney magic. Was thinking of spending a couple of days at wdw either before or after the cruise if I get the pin code it would be a done deal! Had a pin code last year so will keep my fingers crossed! Hey Nat123 southwest opens up fares on the 23 Im waiting for that as well and will be ready to book first thing on the 23rd.:thumbsup2

Do you mind my asking how late into December the PIN code was good for? I am travelling 8-15 with our DVC membership, so we wont be able to do the PIN dance and hope for the email... but I would like to know if I will be fighting the crowds for dining reservations if the timeframe overlaps our visit. We normally dont have to much trouble making ADR's for this time... but with free dining, online ressies and early December becoming more and more popular, I am a bit worried.

I don't mind at all.;) The pin code for December was good until the 17th. Also don't forget that the UK guests also was offered the free dining and I heard that some air fight also offered Free dining if you fly with them. Overall I think it's going to be hard. Best of luck to all of us!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will get the pin. Have your tried calling Disney to see if it's attached to your name?

As for going on the Disney Magic have a great time. I wish I was there. I think after this Nov/Dec trip I'm going to plan a Disney cruise. Don't forget to keep us posted on what you thought of it
.

Did a Disney Cruise in May 2008...LOVED it... we will be doing one again probably in 2010, or saving and doing Mediteranian on one of the new ships in 2011.

Hope you all get pins, and we see you all there in early December!

Wow...good for you..

We are currently booked from November 28th to Dec 7th with a 40% PIN. I would have loved the free dining though! What dates in November/December was the PIN you have good for. Ours wasn't good for November 28th so we had to do a room only res for that night...oh well what can you do!?

We have booked our airfare already too! We got $808 (US) return from Buffalo for the four of us the first day that JetBlue put their Nov/Dec fares out...I was afraid that the cost for the outbound trip would get pricey since it is Thanksgiving weekend! We have a special needs daughter so prearranged seating, direct flights and flight times are important to us and JetBlue worked out well!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you get this pin. I heard people today still getting it.:wizard:

We received a Free Dining PIN as well and are going Dec. 17-23:thumbsup2

Now what do you think triggered the pin code for you? It can't be the Disney Visa since we can't get them, it can't be the park maps since that is only for americans too. So what do you think you did different that triggered you to get a pin code?

Before I forget CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never rec'd an email w/ the FD PIN offer but decided to call today & see if I happened to have one attached to my name & I did.
So those waiting for one, try calling, you might get lucky.pixiedust:

We are going from Dec 13-17th. Surprisingly my 4 yr old wanted to go to WDW instead of presents. They also let me book up to 3 rooms on the same pin so my parents and the in-laws are coming. We are close to Detroit but flying out of Flint with Air tran. $680 round trip for four. Hope everyone has fun! Merry X-mas.
