Anyone know when to expect February price increase?
If true, this blows. It VERY much puts a wrench into our future plans (and part of why we bought DVC).
a lot of people assumed it was going to happen a few years ago, when they took the prices for the no-expire option off the website.
i doubt it will happen - they have already raised prices on the no-expire option till it's barely worth it - but you never know...
Related question - at the time, I pondered adding the Water Parks option to these tickets. Is this still an available option?
Thanks! From looking at the UT website, it looks like the 10-day park hopper non-expiring tickets are currently $755.01 and the same tickets with the waterpark option is $769.53. Assuming that price bridging works with these tickets, once we first use the tickets, we can upgrade them to include waterparks for an additional $14.52.
i think the price bridging is based on disney's prices, so i wouldn't do too much calculating based on UT's pricing...i'm not an expert, though.
Just saw a tweet from WDW News Today that says along with a February ticket price increase will come the end of the non-expiring tickets. Current ones will be honored but no new ones sold.
WDWNT.com is an unofficial site and is not in any way affiliated with The Walt Disney Company.
It's still worth it to us - 10 day non-expiring park hopper on Undercover tourist - $755 vs 3 - 3 day PH totaling $1049. (I know they are giving an extra day free on the 3 day PH, but we get 3 trips out of our 10 day ticket and would do 3 trips with the 3/4 days tickets.) We can add 10 non-expiring water park trips to that 10 day ticket for an extra $14.
I wonder if it's going away because not enough people use it for them to offer it anymore. The same thing is happened with the split beds on the Disney Cruise ship the wonder is currently the only one to have them and even now those days are apparently numbered.
I think im could also be because people tour the parks differently then they used to and outside of boards like the Dis going to the parks more than once a yer is almost going to the way of the Dodo.
