End of March crowds?

We went that week in 2009 and the crowds were quite tolerable for the most part.

We did choose to go to Magic Kingdom on my birthday even though it was listed as the worst park for the day, AND we got a late start to boot because I went back to bed.

The park was stuffed with people and it was hard to get on attractions in a reasonable time.

Overall, you'll be fine...BUT go to the best park for the day, and get there at or near rope drop.

Thanks. I know it's totally unpredictable at this point. And we are literally just booking this trip now (cash villa) so we will just have to deal with whatever is thrown at us. I am getting the vibe that our initial 2-3 days will be busier than the last few b/c of the local school breaks. But really, when is Disney not busy anymore?
I am taking it as a little glimmer of a good sign that there is much more availability at restaurants than even last year when we went in the fall and I was looking 4-5 months out for that trip.

That is a recent change. I am a planner and make a chart...I know:rolleyes2.anyways, they've downgraded three of the days from 8's to 6's and 7's. Hope they're right!:)

That is such good news. We will be there March 22-29. I've been preparing for the worst!

Maybe I'm just nuts, but I'm going March 25th and am optimistic that prior to the weekend the crowds won't be that bad. Where I live the schools all pretty much have spring break either after the end of the grading period (March 28th) OR right around Easter. And when I check hotel availability the week of March 23rd there are plenty more options than the weeks before and after.
