This might be the only time I willl be able to get there this year. Is it a bad time to go as far as crowds are concerned? I know it will be hot but that's not a problem for me. Just got back from Disneyland two days ago and I was sooooooooo disapointed. I need a trip to wdw to make up for it. My problem is taking the kids out of school. This is the only time I think I can do it. Help anyone....

End of June will be crowded with normal summer crowds. However, the beginning of July will be CROWDED!

July 4 is on a Monday this year, so the J4 crowds will start on Friday, July 1 and last all through Monday. Parks will be packed that weekend, and MK will likely close at capacity on both Saturday and Sunday.

From our experience the crowd aren't quite as bad on the week following July 4th.

We went last year 6/27 - 6/30 and found crowds to be quite reasonable. We did not go near MK, though MGM was surprisingly almost deserted: we rode ToT and RnRR several times with no wait at all. CSR also never felt crowded - it was quite warm and humid, but the quiet Casitas pool and the Dig Site pool were fine. We had minimal waits for our PS times as well.

I'm hoping that it's true what they say....July 4th weekend is crazy but then there is a reasonable lull. We are arriving July 3rd and are prepared for madness for the first couple of days.

We had friends who went at that time last year. They used the Tour Guide Mike schedules and didn't wait more than 30 minutes for anything. We're going 6/16 - 6/23 this year and hoping for a good experience.
