End of July or begining of August

We are thinking either the last week of July or the first week of August. Does it make a difference at all with weather, crowds or cost of hotel?

We are thinking of splurging and staying at the DLH so that we have a fun pool to take a break in during the day. Does anyone have any pics of the pool? Would the DLH pool or the GCH pool be more fun for kiddos?

Both weeks are equally crowded and hot. Your best way to avoid crowds is to arrive early (7:30 or so, except on MM days you should arrive around 6:30-6:45). It's the best way to hit some of the rides that usually have long lines, with no wait or a small wait.

No difference. The trend is that as the summer progresses it gets warmer, so all else being equal July would be the choice - as long as it is not around July 4 or July 17. But a few weeks difference will not have a significant effect on temperature.

It is DL's anniversary day and tends to draw DL fans more than other typical summer days. If July 17 week was my only choice I would go. But if I had a choice between July 17 and a different week I would take the different week.

sorry to ask a question on your thread but I am planning on going the 17th of Aug through the 22nd definately using MM and taking breaks etc. Figure it will be busy due to summer and know it will be hot. But will it be dreadfully busy
