If it is a typical August day, then you will find it pretty hot in the sun at port. There is not typically a lot of breeze up on deck when the ship is still in port. You will find a similar situation in Nassau. The ship won't start moving until 4:30 - 5:00 so it will be hot. Also, typically in August, thunderstorms start moving ashore in the early to mid-afternoon on most days. Although brief, they can be intense. You will also find that on the sun-side of the ship, waiting in lines for the safety drill can be uncomfortably hot and humid. Can anyone comment if it’s miserably hot on the upperdecks while docked? Example we plan on embarking eating at cabanas. I believe there is indoor and out seating. Will noon outside be miserable on Aug?
