end of august crowds

thinking of going to DLP for the last week of august before our kids go back to school. Are the schools in that area out around that time of year and how are the crowds during the week in DLP?

I've never been at the end of August but i've been at the beginning and middle of the month. The crowds are a lot heavier than in low season, but if you use your fastpass and EMH wisely you'll manage fine!
The queue times are a lot longer but as long as you're prepared for that before you go, you'll be absolutely fine and have a great trip!

Hi, last year i went the 8th-10th August but 2 years ago i went the 26th-28th August and there really was no difference in crowds at the start or end of August, August in general can be quite busy but not terribly busy, you are very likely able to get to do everything you want to do and i went during the week both times.

We're considering a few days at DLP August 2018 after a cruise so it looks like we better bring our patience.
