Sorry if this has been ask before.

Does anybody know what the crowds are going to be like at the end of April. It just seems like more states have school vacation that week. However, with Easter being so early will crowds be lighter. At least we will still be at Disney World!! :cool1: :cloud9: :cool1: Very hard to be unhappy there.

Welcome MickeyGirl,

We'll also be at WDW the end of April. We've never gone at that time of year, but I can share what I've learned here and from the Unofficial Guide. Historically, WDW has been crowded March and April, with crowds dropping off toward the end of April and staying low through mid-to-late May.

However, many of the NE states have changed their Spring Break schedules to the third or fourth weeks of April to coincide with Passover (because Easter is so early this year). Also, WDW begins Cindercelebration the first week of May.

So, late April will probably have higher crowds than usual and early May will be packed with media and winners of give-away trips.

Will there be some crowds in late April? Yes. Will it be as bad as Christmas week? No way.

My advice: Arrive at the Parks for opening. (The parks only get more crowded as the day goes on.)

Use Fastpass for the more popular rides.

Be willing to "hop" to another park if crowds get unreasonable.

Get Priority Seating reservations for lunch and/or dinner for the parks you plan on being at. You'll avoid lines at the counter service places.

I hope this helps!

We have gone the either the third or last week of April every year since 1996. and it usually it is a great time of year to go. There seems to be a lot more buzz about late April crowds this year, but we've never had a problem before. We've always found it to be a perfect time--the weather is nice, but not overpoweringly hot.

I think it will be more crowded than normal. I just tried to book cp for dinner all week and next to nothing was available.
