Enchanted?

I've already seen it twice. I really loved it! It is already one of my favorites. Some people didn't think it was that great, but I really enjoyed the satire. Amy Adams perfectly captured the mannerisms of a cartoon princess.
And I LOVE Patrick Dempsey! There are some really funny moments in this film!

My DD5 and I saw it today. We both enjoyed it! There were some very comical moments and the prince is pretty hot too ;)

My DS12 and I went today. We LOVED it:thumbsup2
There was a perfect mix of fun for kids and not too cheesy for adults:lmao:
McDreamy wasn't too bad to look at either:love:
Disney has done it again, I can't wait to add it to my collection:happytv:

We went and saw it as a family yesterday. The consensus was fairly unanimous - good, but a bit disappointing. I thought there were several obvious editing and/or story line flaws and was hoping for more interaction between the cartoon and the real worlds.

I did love the big musical number in the middle though.

Overall, we enjoyed it but doubt if any of us would pay to see it again.

I love it!! I kindaa wrote a mini review somewhere on the Disney Rumors and News board. It's a must see!

DD5, DH, and I saw Enchanted last night. Amy Adams could not have been a more perfect princess, she had all the mannerisms down right. The prince was hilarious too! Cute, but had a few adult themes that DD5 could have done without (although it was probably over her head). Not sure if I would buy it, but it was fun. Definitely go see it though.

We just got back. I took dd6 and her bff7 (with her mom) and we all loved the movie!! We've been waiting a long time to see it and were not disappointed. princess:

Can you please tell me what those adult themes were? My girls are a little older so it may not go over their heads. So much easier to watch at home with a remote!

:thumbsup2 :goodvibes We saw it yesterday and we all thought it was WONDERFUL! DS12 and esp. DS16 did NOT want to see it, but their Disney crazy mom dragged them. They LOVED it. DS16 thanked me for making him go. He really enjoyed it. The look on DD8's face throughout the whole movie was priceless. I know I had a smile on my face throughout as well. It's WAYYYYY up there as one of my favorites. I don't see how anyone would be disappointed by it. I went figuring that I'd like it, but not nearly as much as I did. It's light-hearted and comical and romantic and sweet. DH just went to humor me and he loved it too. I don't think there could have been a better actress for Giselle than Amy Adams. She was PERFECT. As far as adult themes, there was nothing you'd need a remote for. Totally appropriate for the whole family. I can't wait to buy the DVD!

I went to see it with my SO last night and thought it was great! I'll admit that as a guy, parts of the movie even almost made me cry...that's true Disney magic IMHO. Though a bit cheesy at first and hurry in the storyline, it all made sense later on in the film and was much needed, plus it did really represent the classics come to life. Two thumbs up from me!

I saw the movie on Friday and loved it. It's right up there with "Ever After" for me. Ok, so we didn't see it with any kids. ;) I just love chick flicks. :thumbsup2

Just went this afternoon to see Enchanted and I loved it! Disney film + Patrick Dempsey = LOVE!!! Amy Adams did a wonderful job as Giselle and the musical number in Central Park was wonderful. I love that they movie was set in NYC. Carrie Underwood also sings a song at the very end that is beautiful. I will definitely buy the DVD.

We saw it yesterday (Sunday, we want to contribute to it doing well!) and DW, DD10 and I thought it was first rate entertainment. Very fun!

I was at the Disney Store a few days before and the Giselle doll was 40% off. So I bought it, opened the packaging, and then snuck the doll into the theatre under my jacket so my DD10 didn't see it.

When the movie started, I handed it my daughter. She loved it! I do this with all the Disney movies. When Cars came out, I had the Matchbox size Lightning McQueen, Mater and Sally diecasts in my pocket. When each character came onscreen, I handed a car to my daughter.

That's such a cute idea! I'll have to remember that for when I have kids!
