I can't even comprehend having such little class that someone could find it appropriate to spit at someone. And in her face, no less. *sigh* Thank you for making her feel important!!! I would certainly hope that for ever spitter there are a thousand of you (figuratively, of course). But no matter how many awesome people you encounter, how in the world do you forget that someone spit in your face?!

Pretty cool that you guys all ran into each other! And not nice about making fun of Brenda's backlog of trip reports. Terrible problem to have, I tell ya! I'm doing mine soooo slow because I don't want it to end, since I don't know when I'll be back.

Ha ha! Seeing you, Carrie and Riley in line for Jasmine and Genie was great. I almost didn't share that photo with the three of you but hey, it's a great photo of Carrie, Riley, and Duffy! I wondered the story behind the tee that you were wearing but I was too nosey to ask. Now my curiosity is satisfied.

Yeah... just a little exaggeration but 2016 sounds about right for that Dec. TR. I'll probably have 3 trips completed before I start that one.

I just finished reading your trip report. It sounds like you had an absolutely amazing time. I just want to say I agree with you, those singing dolls in It's A Small World are a little creepy. It's was very sweet that Genie remembered seeing Riley in the parade. I'm sure that was a very special memory for her. I can't wait to read more.

Cute photo with Donald and Daisy but I agree that Donald's outfit is a little strange. I really need to start doing some research for my trip as I had no idea Scrooge McDuck does a meet. Seriously though - that is just disgusting and where is that person in their life and the mind at that point for them to think that was the proper response?!?!?! And to do it in front of their kids? Way to set the example. Violence is never the answer but would have liked to see someone get that guys attention while someone else when to get management to deal with it.

What a nice meeting with Emily. Some people are animals! Actually, that is an insult to animals. I do believe though that interactions with kind guests like you help to counteract some of the scum that CMs have to encounter.

Love the t-shirt- had you known the design, I'm sure you would have broken out in verses of "Do you want to build a snowman?" to Riley.

That is fantastic that you had "the gang" in front of you in the Aladdin line.

Oh I know, it was so hard to hear that. Having talked with her, she really was such a sweet girl. It just broke my heart. Honestly Elena, I really do hope she knows how much CM's mean to us. She handled everything so well, God bless her.

OMG that absolutely had me dying when I saw it.

That CM story broke my heart. My good CM friend once had a full tray of nachos and cheese sauce thrown at her, and a guest cussed her out on Christmas Day...it's SO upsetting how CMs can be treated, and the fact that they still go to work smiling is a testament to how great they are.

Mine too Courtney. It was just so appalling to me. It made me furious and sad all at the same time. I just do not understand some people. I really don't. And I know this was far from an isolated incident, which makes it even sadder.

I still have it too. They gave it to me to keep. And my God I was so shocked when I returned to that spot in line and there they were the whole time. Too funny.

I would have liked that too, but obviously I needed Genie. He was so great.

Excellent update Rob! OMG I cannot even believe that about the guy spitting in the CM's face! Who does that? And I agree with you...I hate violence but I would've taken action in that situation.

Man oh man, people never cease to amaze me with their level of rudeness and complete lack of a conscious. Since Alex works in a customer service centered job, I have, unfortunately, become accustomed to hearing awful stories. To the point where I'm almost immune to them, but sometimes you hear things that just make you crazy, like that spitting incident. I just don't think I could take that.

A Genie meet mad greet was a must, of course! And how cool that you ran into Brenda and the gang while in line. I'm sure she'll get to her December trip soon enough. She had a long vacation to cover with her August one!

Wow, Donald does look like he could hop on over to the Canada pavilion! I had no clue that was his Christmas party attire.

And now the bad - I am convinced that a trip to Disney can bring out the bipolar side to some people. Not that it's a excuse, because its not. But I swear there are people out there with "issues" and the intensity of the Disney experience can make these vulnerable people go berserk. I do agree that spitting at someone is one of the absolute worst and most disrespectful things you can do. What a darling girl and a beautiful smile! It saddens me that she would have to experience that just for doing her job.

They really are. And the crowds are pretty much always low for some reason. Just a great opportunity to get up close with some characters... And photobombers.

Oh yeah, for sure. I certainly understand the craziness and stress that can accompany a Disney vacation. I just could never get to the level of doing that to someone, let alone a young girl. Clearly, that was his snapping point, but he (and I) are lucky it didn't happen in front of me. The good news is she didn't let it affect her. A really strong girl she is.

Rob, let me tell you. Working at any kind of theme park or amusement park definitely shows you the disgusting side of people. Having worked at Six Flags for quite a number of years in my youth, I've had a number of nasty things done and said to me. Sadly, it doesn't surprise me that someone spit in her face. But I am glad that it upset you.

I have been shoved, pushed, yelled at, spit at, and even been told "I'm not talking to you because you're a woman...." People have issues unfortunately.

But for all of the negative things in this world, I feel that there are the people that outweigh it completely, like you. And believe me, had I ever met someone like you when I was working, I would have been over the moon happy. And would have truly felt that my job was great.

Anyhoodle, she looks absolutely sweet, and I'll make sure to keep my eye out for her to see if she's still working there.

Sadly, I have no doubt at all Danielle. I really feel for anyone who works in a customer service type of position. I've done it and it sure is not for the faint of heart. I guess in hindsight, I'm not surprised either. But at the time it just hit me really hard. I always look at CM's as something special, so when I heard that, OMG, it just took the air right out of me.

Good God. I just do not understand the mentality of people to do that. But I guess it's a good thing that I don't.

She was such a sweetheart. I think that made me feel even more angry, upset, and protective. She was in the ICP, so I'm not sure when her end date is/was, but you'll love her if you meet her.

I know. It's just so unfathomable to me. The mindset of some people is just scary. And that's the thing. She basically just told him he couldn't stand in front of the parade. And having talked with her, I can be 100% assured she would have done that in the sweetest possible way. Thank goodness she took it all in stride. She really impressed me.

It was the funniest thing. I knew I would see them that night, but I never expected it to be that soon and certainly not in that line. Even funnier is I was behind them for a while prior to moving to the end of the line and didn't even know it.
