"ENCHANTED TALES with ROB" - A Birthday/Christmas DISer Celebration! **NEW TR LINK**

Yay!! Another update!! I would like to suggest that all of dis contribute to more trips for you so you can write more reports!! I love the country bears also. It's a must do for me!

YAY another comment, lol. Kristina, I FULLY SUPPORT THIS IDEA TO MY VERY SOUL!!! How sweet.

OMG my bears!!! I just LOVE them. I just wish they were singing.

Ok, MVMCP > MNSSHP... just kidding, I won't do that again! :rotfl2:
Awww I LOVE the Country Bears meet!! So awesome!
Love the parade pictures, Chip and Dale have really got the best float. I always want to get up and build a snow man with them!

This is funny, but also SO accurate. :rotfl2:

Hehe, I fully support your MVMCP love Wendy.

Aww thank you!!! I was so freaking giddy. Big dream done here.
I wish I had gotten better parade photos, but those night-time shots are tough with all the movement. But I so agree about that float. Adorable to the MAX!

Haha, enjoy... but don't eat.

Rob, I feel you. I could never miss meeting the princes but it is downright PAINFUL not being able to openly hit on them. Sigh, why must my life be so hard.

I AM SO ANGRY I COULDN'T GO IN DECEMBER LKJSKJDFSLK I want to go right now so bad. SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!!!! I'm glad you had two parties though and fulfilled your dream of meeting the bears!

Isn't there something just inherently wrong about that set-up??? It just seems so cruel. Of course, the guys do have it better in that you can meet the Princesses solo, but not the Princes. That said, you do seem to pull it off nicely Lia, dancing with princes and all!! ;)

I know, I was too honestly. I can only imagine the epic-ness of that TR. You will though, you will. I'm so glad I did the second party especially since the second one will be so different. AND BIG AL!!!!! :cloud9:

Oh the party looks just wonderful!

Snoap and water... :rotfl2:

There is nothing quite like a MK party regardless of which one.

Hehe, this really does come in handy when your feeling not so fresh.

Yaaaayy!!!

Love that you finally got to meet the country bears!! I don't know if it worked or not, but I taped Blood on the Saddle for you, and tried to post it on your facebook but I don't know if it went through? :confused3 Either way, I thought of you, and yes, I dragged Steven into Country Bears with him having no idea what it was :rotfl2:

Anyways! Great pics and adventures from the party, I'm glad you enjoyed it! We definitely spent the party doing completely opposite things, lol! The pics on Main St are particularly gorgeous, that place is beautiful, and I can't believe I didn't think to get empty, flag pole gone pictures before we left that night!!

:yay:

Oh me too Katt, I was so happy in that moment. It made me think of my grandfather, so it was really special. OMG YOU DID?????? I never saw it so I guess it didn't work, BUT THAT IS SO FREAKING INCREDIBLY SWEET OF YOU!!!!! I'm speechless. Hopefully I'll see it one day. Honestly, that is so amazing!!!!! And I sure do hope Steven got some appreciation for the awesomeness that is the Country Bear Jamboree.

I really did have a good time. Haha, still amazing we never crossed paths, but there were quite a few DISers there that night and I never saw a soul. I'm quite surprised you didn't get the train station photo (I actually thought of you when I did that), but then you usually reserve that for the end of a trip.

Great report on the party! Never been to the Christmas party and I don't think it's going to happen for our family at least for another few years due to scheduling issues.

I'm with you about the luxury of time attending two parties provides which is why we're planning on attending two back to back MNSSHP in October. Since one of our parties will fall on Halloween (and most likely extremely packed) I decided to splurge on a second party the night before so that the kids will have time to meet the characters they want.

Thanks Dave!!! It's definitely worth doing, but that Halloween Party ain't bad either.

If you enjoy the parties, I can't recommend enough doing more than one. It's pricey, but so very unique, and you just can't do it all in one night. Your Halloween night party will be busy, but no more so than any other sold out party I would think. In fact, I'd expect both of your parties to be sold out. But don't fear, it's still less than an average MK day.

How lucky you are to have grown up in a family that incorporates Country Bears' songs into the daily repertoire! :goodvibes Although we spent many a family vacation at Disney, my family has never had the appreciation/obsession that I have for Disney. It's funny though to watch old home videos... even as a kid I was the one with the Disney shirts and Christmas gifts! :rotfl: some things never change...

Your snow-falling-on-Main Street pictures are just amazing. :cloud9: I haven't been to the World for Christmas since 1997... Must fix that! :thumbsup2

Waiting eagerly for your next update!!!

And I wasn't exaggerating either Tracy. Everybody sang it. I am truly grateful to my family for starting that Disney love in me. Of course, I ended up taking it to a whole other level.

It leaves you speechless. It really makes it feel like Christmas... in 80 degree weather, lol. But there is still nothing in the world like a Disney Christmas. Yes, fix that!

The next day is a good one I think.

I love how excited you were about Big Al! That's so awesome. I had no idea who did his voice, that's so cool! I miss John Ritter. :(

Chip and Dale's snowball fight is awesome, I agree. Gotta love those munks.

That is an AMAZING picture from the train station. :)

OMG Marissa, it was ridiculous. I could not have been fan-girling harder. I miss John Ritter too. I'm a Three's Company junkie.

A highlight of the parade for sure. Hearing their giggly voices throwing snow is just parade perfection.

Aww thank you!!!! I love that shot too.

Caught up on all the party updates!! :cool1: Wonderful!!!
Looks like you had a great time on your "add-on" party.
I LOVE the party parades and fireworks. Those alone are worth the extra $$$ for me, but I do have to say that I preferred MNSSHP to MVMCP.

Favorite parade moment=Toy Soldiers! They are so awesome.

Ahhhhh, snow on Main Street. When does snow get better than that?! The only time I wouldn't mind it. Especially this winter! YUK-so done with it!!

Great meet and greets!! Genie!! Never have seen him around.

Loved all the party picks. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Linda.

I did and it definitely helped being a "bonus" night. No pressure, lol.
Those are the highlights for sure. So special and unique and really do make the party worth the extra cash for me. And yes, MNSSHP is a bit better.

Oh for sure! They are so freaking cool. I love that part so much; it's quite impressive.

Best snow ever. It doesn't stay, you don't need to shovel it, it's just there to look pretty. All the good, none of the bad.

Genie is so rare and he shouldn't be. But, just another bonus to the party.

Thank YOU for reading!!!

The Hundred Acre Wood gang look so cute with their scarves!!!

My dad also loves the Country Bears. I didn't make it to a performance this trip, but I did walk past and immediately wished my dad was there with me.

:rotfl: I love meeting the princesses, but as a sort-of adult woman I really wish the princes were out and about more.

I get the enthusiasm for meeting a character who is more obscure. My entire life would be made if I could meet Prince John from Robin Hood. IDK what it is about him, but he is #1 on my list! I did meet the Sheriff of Nottingham many years ago but never PJ.

That might be the cutest photopass artwork I've seen yet. I LOVE it. And I don't think I'd mind it one bit if they turned the castle into a gingerbread house at some point. I actually loved the pink birthday cake and I can totally see it being transformed like that for Christmas. Just for me :)

Absolutely love your panoramic shot at the end there. Beautiful!

Don't they though??? It really adds to the atmosphere.

My family is the reason for my love of them and I always think of them whenever I'm there. Just great memories.

Yeah, I totally get that. I kind of wonder what the response would be to a Prince only Meet and Greet. I honestly don't know.

Oh yeah, rare characters are where it's at. There are SO MANY characters that could and should do meets. That's one thing that disappoints me about Disney.

It's a great border!!! I used it a lot. But I have to say I HATED the birthday cake castle. I'm fine with changing the look via the projection show, lol. But leave my castle alone!!! But I also get your point too.

THANK YOU Sue!!! I love how it turned out.

great update Rob! Main St. complete with Snoap is pretty stunning

oh, and I think "But a clearly drunken, overweight, morbid song singing bear… Oh Yeah, THAT was critically important." was in the running for the plaque for Disney World before "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy." won out

Great picture with the Country Bear gang. My DD Olivia saw this update and asked who that was and I said my friend Rob and the Country Bears. That's Big Al, he sings "blood on the saddle'

Olivia: Blood on the Saddle *scrunched up face*

Me: Do you not like blood?

Olivia: No, I do ... it keeps me alive!

Thanks Phil, I adore Main Street on a Christmas Party night. So pretty.

Then they need to change it!! What says Disney more than Big Al???

OMG :rotfl2: That Is PRECIOUS!!! I love how kids keep it so real and logical. But it also sounds like a trip to the Jamboree needs to be added to the August trip.

Adding an extra party night is ALWAYS a good decision. I'm trying to plan a fall trip and throw in 2 MNSSHPs because...2 is better than 1 ;)

Um this Christmas tree button down shirt. I want it.

FREE COOKIES >>>>>>>>>>

BUT THE CASTLE LIGHTING OMG DEAD :faint: :faint: :faint:

The snowflake lights on the rocks :lovestruc

I know scarves aren't as awesome as a Halloween costume, but they are still cute! :cutie:

OMG GENIE!!

This is not the first time that I've heard people say that MNSSHP is better than MVMCP.... but Christmas is huge compared to Halloween so Halloween deserves this. Makes me getting down there for Halloween a priority over Christmas. :santa:

Thanks Meg for the extra reassurance. It just makes the most sense to spread it out. I'm hoping to do another MNSSHP this September... Maybe 2 :) Of course, I also want another Halloween Horror Nights at Universal too.

Aren't they the cutest costumes??? You're right, Disney should sell them.

Free is always better!!! And the cookies are pretty good too.

Oh yeah... It leaves you speechless. Honestly I can't see that enough.

Those were my favs!!!

No argument there!! Extremely cute. Haha, and if you like the scarves, just wait until the next party.

RIGHT??!! I've been dying to meet him forever.

Taken as a whole, I give the nod to the Halloween party. Both have great, but different, atmosphere. I really do like Merry ChristWishes a bit more than HalloWishes, but HalloWishes is phenomenal. Boo To You parade is the best parade period. I'd give the nod to Christmas for the special shows. But MNSSHP you get to dress up, trick or treat, and I think there are better character meets (hello Jack and Sally).
So yeah, if I had to choose, I'd choose Halloween.

Awe I miss WDW at Christmas.

One day I'll be back. Thanks for sharing.

It's a special time for sure, and they really make you feel it all over.

Hey Rob! I'm finally caught up!

I see that you made friends with Jasmine and Genie. We could have used you at the next party to make introductions! Genie didn't say anything so I'm not sure if he was happy to meet us. ;) I was bummed that they didn't have a talking Genie like they do at the Aladdin show at the Hyperion theater at DCA.

I agree with your observation that the MVMCP fireworks show needs a better name... any name. Come one Disney. You should submit your official "ChristWishes" to them to consider adopting. Credit should be given of course. :) That was the perfect spot at the hub for the fireworks. I love that the Partners statue is captured in some of your shots.

I would much rather spend the party posing with Big Al and some of the other unique characters than the princesses. You can see them anytime.

Did you indulge in any of the cookies or hot cocoa?

Hi Brenda!!! I tried to go slow for ya!

Haha, too funny. See if I had been in front of you I would have totally done that. But I've seen the photos and I'm pretty sure he was excited. But I agree, once you've seen Genie in that show, everything else pales in comparison. Can you imagine that meet???

It just really surprises me that they didn't put more effort into a name. The show is so good it deserves a better name. My goodness I just have so many ideas to share with that company. Just think of all the money they're leaving on the table, lol. HA, considering my horrible error a couple nights prior, I made sure to be in the optimal spot this time. PLUS, I had some great unplanned company too. It always makes me happy to capture the partners statue too.

Oh for sure. I understand the prince/princess appeal, but just not for me. But if Prince Eric ever shows up, I may have to throw down, lol.

Oh good God YES, at every opportunity. But they are both pretty rich, so I did have to pace myself a bit.

So first of all, I'm a bit mad at the DIS because for some reason the boards stopped sending me my emails about updates! So needless to say I've fallen a bit behind in your TR! I swear I just can't keep myself organized :/

Anyway, I love all your pics of the Christmas decorations! And the filming looked cool. It's neat that you got to see some performances - O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas carol too :) And you met Dancing Barbara! How neat!

I'm so glad you loved Be Our Guest! As you know, I'm a huge fan, but it sometimes gets mixed reviews so I was holding my breath waiting to see what you would think. But we are definitely on the same page! Fantastic food and an even better atmosphere. And I love your interaction with that little girl - you got a really cool picture thanks to her! But... your comment about the stained glass and the pants-less prince... noooo! I will never be able to look at that picture the same way again HAHA!

Wow, that FP line for Big Thunder is insane! Disney still has a lot to figure out with FP+. Our experience was okay in December, but it was pretty negative this past February trip and I am really fed up with FP+ at this point. It's more stress than it's worth!

I love that you met Piglet! So cute, I would've liked to do that... next time ;) And I know you love the Country Bears so sorry to offend you but... they are so creepy looking! Especially in the dark haha!

And your fireworks pics are fantastic. I want to get better fireworks pictures, so that's something I have to work on. Any tips?

You know what? I've heard others saying the same thing. I think it was someone who setup a daily email maybe? Must be something broken. Oh, and also, YOU WERE IN DISNEY WORLD!!!

I love the decorations. Of course you saw them in person. The filming though is pretty neat, but it does get old quickly. I'm telling you though, she sang her face off on O Holy Night. It was beautiful. And meeting Barb was absolutely a highlight.

I loved it Becky. Absolutely loved it. No matter how many photos I'd seen and reviews I'd read, nothing prepared me for seeing it in person. The atmosphere obviously is the selling point, but I thought the food was great and everybody working there was delightful. I love those little moments with other guests like that little one. It just warmed my heart that she was so excited to share all the details with me. She really sent me out of there on a high. ... And then came the stained glass. :sad2: No lie, that's all I could see. But the beauty is, at least now I won't be alone in that, lol.

It was chaos, AND during a relatively quiet period. Nobody knew where to go. I really do feel bad for people working the FP return. Now you really have me interested in your Feb trip (not that I wasn't before of course, but I wanna hear those details).

Me too! The last of the Pooh gang for me. And no offence taken honestly. A lot of people share that view, and in the dark like that, they do look a little creepy. But since I grew up with them from a very early age, to me they just look normal.

Aww thank you. The best secret I have for fireworks (other than a great DSLR which i don't have) is... video. Yup, some of those photos are actually HD video stills. Works every time and you never miss a shot.

The MVMCP is much better than the MSEP parade. I think I would rather see the Halloween parade, though. Ghosts are better than royal dancers any day. ;)

We saw the Country Bears when we were there in December and I was surprised at how empty it was. :confused3 This used to be a very popular show.

It is, but then it's also more rare. But YES, Boo To You is the best parade ever.

Oh I know, it kinda breaks my heart Sue. This used to be a Must Do. I remember back in 2006 I took a friend to Disney who had never been before, and the very first thing I took him to was the Bears. I'd be devastated if they took this away.

I have to admit, your love for the Country Bears is certainly infectious. This is an awesome picture.

I've been to MNSSHP three times but I have only been to MVMCP once. The pictures of all the colors on Main Street and the snoap have me wanting to return.

Great update! :worship: Love the last picture from the Train Station. Great view!

Oh Mary Ellen those bears just mean so much to me and Big Al is just the top of the mountain. I really was so excited.

Despite the fact that I prefer the Halloween Party, that certainly doesn't mean the Christmas Party isn't amazing. It is in every way. And the look of Main Street with the snoap and the colour, well, it's hard to top that. And my next party will be even more special.

Aww thank you!!!! I was so happy with that last picture.

Finally some time to post a reply! Sounds like a great time and the weather looks amazing! Shanleigh had that conversation the entire time you guys were down there, you know the one, "we would be arriving the next day...etc etc etc. I have been following along but instead of buying a laptop I bought an iPad and I have to say for some things I love it, but for posting on TR's I prefer my laptop, so right now, I have absconded with Shanleigh's!:rotfl2:

JACQUIE!!! So glad to hear from you even if it is on a stolen laptop, lol.

Oh my yes, it is a shame you had to postpone your December trip because the weather was unreal. Nothing but sunshine and warm temps the entire time. And of course it would have been awesome to have met you guys. But given your replacement trip, I think you made out okay. I'm actually one who has yet to take the plunge on a tablet, but I'm glad to hear you at least have a substitute. :)

I was back with you after your BOG lunch.

Those are really cool pictures of the castle stage during the Ne-Yo song.

That is disappointing about the Jingle Cruise. I haven't really read about anyone who was blown away by the overlay.

I do appreciate your picture of "Splash Fountain". I tried to think of the oddest picture I have taken at Disney. I know there are times when someone has asked me "Why are you taking a picture of THAT?!?" Usually it is my family with that question. But there are people out "there" (well, here) that truly want to see.

I think maybe the luggage lockers outside of Hollywood Studios. One of my fellow chaperones was surprised by that picture. My family was unimpressed when I pulled out a tape measure to get the dimensions of the safe in our Beach Club room, but they certainly weren't surprised!

That boy's shaved Mickey head is cool! Do you know if he have that done before his trip or there at Disney?

Maybe in Windsor, England if your name is "Jeeves", but you're right. Not an overused phrase.

I love your pictures from the Christmas Party, especially the MerryChristWishes fireworks show.

Once again, great interactions with the CMs. I notice that you got the two girls' names, but the male you just call the guy CM. Hmmmmm....

Great picture with Big Al and the boys!

Glad you had a chance to enjoy the parade. Chip and Dale are my favorite characters!

The pictures of Main Street on the way out are gorgeous! The one of the lamp post with the falling snoap :lmao: is great but I especially love that last picture looking at the castle from the train station. Awesome!

It was cool to see some of the performances. There's no way I would stay in that spot all day though. But surprisingly, the crowds weren't bad at all. Definitely a unique MK experience.

No, there was really nothing to be blown away by. If they had just done what they did but without any advertising, it would have been better. That way no expectations.

Haha, I just felt the need to do something in lieu of Splash being down, and I thought this would be funny. To the others around me, probably a little odd, but whatever. DIS people will get it and that's all that matters.

Hmmm, I'm a little unsure what this comment is referring to Dee. Was this meant to be posted somewhere else, because I do that all the time, lol. If not, I'm probably very stupid for not knowing. Sorry.

It was so super cool. You know, I didn't even think to ask. Darnit.

Ahhhh, haha very true. But still very rare.

Aww thank you Dee. It's a big reason why I was glad I did this party because I took a lot less photos at the next party.

They were all wonderful. Haha yeah, I actually remembered the names because I could see them in the photos, lol.

One of my fav meets ever. Love those bears.

I got really lucky with my spot considering I arrived so late. Not perfect, but certainly acceptable. And I do think that's my favourite float. It's just beyond cute.

Thank you Dee. I can't believe I had spent so little time on Main Street that night because it's a true highlight of the party. It's the very definition of magical I think. And I really was so happy with how that last one came out.

Everyone has Disney characters they love, and it's great that you were able to meet your childhood favorite. I see it as a convienence that you liked someone with a short wait. In the end it worked out great for everybody. You weren't taking up space in the princess lines, didn't have to wait in line to see your favorite, and you probably made Big Al feel special that someone really wanted to meet him. :thumbsup2

Huh, I did not know they took the garlands down for the parade taping. I watched the show and never noticed. That had to be weird to not have them up. Especially with the tree missing. Which, I agree, was kind of a bummer not to have around. It seemed wrong to visit all the other parks and see their iconic trees and not the MK.

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your first party, and now I'm looking forward to seeing how the second ones goes!

Absolutely true, and it usually comes from a childhood experience. Obviously it was great not having a huge line, but I would have waited anyway for sure. I sure do hope Big Al felt some love.

Yeah, I think the floats are too big or it blocks camera shots, so it's taken down. If you didn't know any better it wouldn't be a big deal, but I really wanted it back. Which thankfully it did. And yup, no tree in Town Square until after the tapings. It does provide a unique Main Street picture though.

It was great Alisha. So glad I did the extra. But the second one was even more special.

I simply adored your MVMCP pictures!!! I am going again this year in December as my last few trips I was debating going but never really had a lot of ppl's impressions. Your pictures and story made my decision!!! I definitely want to go this time!! I hope to go to one when I go the first week of December. I hope it's a slow party night :) thanks for your detailed report!

THANK YOU Natalie!!! I highly recommend the party, there's just so much unique stuff. The first week of December is a great time too. For a quieter party, I'd look into a Tuesday if you can. They tend to be the best. But you can still get a lot done even during a Sold Out party, which this one was.

Okay, first off, yay for meeting Wendy!

Listen, as long as something makes sense in your head, it's all good. :rotfl2:

You certainly picked a good time to go visit the G Flo. It's really stunning during Christmas.

Hahahah. Christmas POTC overlay. They should indeed hire you! Jeni and I have a saying every time we come up with an idea for Disney...."they should pay me for that." :rotfl2:

Candice Glover can SANG! Man....she's awesome. But, like most other AI winners, she'll probably fade away. Which is a shame.

I definitely think that the BOG lunch is a step above other CS locations. We enjoyed it a lot.

Awwww...that little girl was adorable! Gotta love observant littles who love to share their knowledge.

I think the backlog at the scanners will decrease when people get more used to them. Hopefully. ;)

Wow, nice improvisation for Splash. How did that all work out for you? :lmao:

Those are some AWESOME DISNEY PARENTS! Shaving a Mickey into their kids head. Amazing.

I have to say that when you could meet Lotso, he was exceptionally soft. ::yes::

Merry ChristWishes.....they should pay you for that. ;)

Big Al is the best ever! I understand your love of him completely.

I was so excited we were able to set that up. We ended up talking for hours.

Exactly. I only really need to convince me.

OMG it is. I'm not sure I'll want to go back there any other time now though.

I'm just bursting with ideas Dani. That one there should have been a no brainer. How did they miss it??? How cool would that job be? You don't even need to pay me. A lifetime park pass will do nicely.

Oh boy can she ever. She sang the crap out of that song.

Oh God WAY above other CS spots. No contest. I enjoyed every second and I stayed WAY longer than I ever would anywhere else.

She was precious and I could tell her Mom was so proud. Honestly she was 8 going on like 40.

I hope that's the case because at that time it wasn't pretty. When it gets really busy and they haven't addressed this, there going to be in trouble. But Disney knows how to handle crowds, so I'm confident they'll fix it somehow.

Hah, Thanks!! Well I didn't get as wet as I normally do, but I made up for it by entertaining any curious onlookers, so I'd call it a wash.

RIGHT??!!! I just hope he was ok with it and it wasn't forced on him. But he seemed pretty happy about all the attention.

Ooooh Lotso. I bet he was. And I love strawberries. WIN-WIN!

I think so too. Can you imagine the crowds they'd pull in??? MVMCP featuring Merry ChristWishes. It sells itself.

Al is just that childhood memory that will never go away. So meeting him was mandatory.

Ahahaha that WAS our last night of the trip!! Truth, we were back in MK the next morning for a little bit, but I don't think we even got up to the train station thanks to parade taping? I have no idea, I have no notes!! Imma try and post the video again right now! My internet is better than it was last time lol

GREAT pic with the country bears!! So happy you got to meet Big Al!

Love the parade pics and your end of the night photos, truly magical!

Yay for meeting the Country Bears! I didn't even know they were all out, my Dad would have loved that!

I actually love the vantage point you had for the parade! I was sitting on the ground and I feel like I missed a lot that was up high.

Chip and Dale are the cutest thing that passes during that parade so cute!

Main Street was so magical with the snoap, ahhh i loved it. I was bummed we didn't get to see the party with the wreaths and Christmas Tree, but at least they were up Monday night!

I do prefer these people when they’re “dead”.

My favorite line of the entire report!!!

OMG THAT'S RIGHT!!! I totally forgot that. In that case you have no excuse, lol. I stayed so far away from MK the next morning because I knew it would be crazy.
Even if that video never works, believe me, the gesture itself means more than you'll know.

GREAT pic with the country bears!! So happy you got to meet Big Al!

Love the parade pics and your end of the night photos, truly magical!

Aww thanks Alexis. It was such an exciting moment for me for sure.

Thank you!! I wish my parade photos had come out a bit better. But one of the benefits of being solo was I was able to take as many Main Street photos as I wanted without holding anybody up. It really was magical to the nth degree.

Thank goodness I knew beforehand so I could make plans. It was critical.

That's a good point Jess. The little ledge gave me enough height to shoot above the people in front. It's still so hard to photograph since it's so dark, but really good for watching.

OMG right??!! When they start throwing down with the snow, it's the best.

Just beyond words right there. Kind of like being at the Osborne Lights where you just stop and stare and turn and stare. That Monday was the first time I saw all the extra Christmas accoutrements too. They really take it to a whole other level.

I do prefer these people when they’re “dead”.

My favorite line of the entire report!!!

Haha, I have to get in my love of Boo To You parade somewhere somehow.

I've just read through your TR thus far & love it! :yay: You're are such a funny guy :rotfl2:& fun to follow along with! I can't wait to read the rest! Thank you for sharing!!!

Hi Rob!

CONGRATULATIONS - YOU ARE MY FIRST!

First thread post that is!:rotfl2:

I've been a lurker for a while and stumbled upon your TR's and love them. It's been since 2011 that I've been able to get a trip booked but the DW, DD me and my DD's friend are headed to WDW for a week starting 6.9.2014 (83 days!) staying at WL. I've started getting excited and have been cruising the DIS Boards for ideas.

Along those line I love your "I Survived" shirt how much royalty do I owe you to steal, er I mean pirate, er copy it? :lmao:

Keep the TR Updates coming!

Oh man, those Country Bears... :lmao::lmao::lmao: I think next trip I need to wear an "I Survived the Country Bears" shirt a la your Small World one!! Definitely not my cup of tea, but I'm glad you got your lifelong dream of meeting them fulfilled!!

I just love Main Street during Christmas. So beautiful and Christmasy!

"I don't know that there is anything more beautiful than Main Street USA at night, complete with falling snoap."

...

:rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl: This made me laugh so darned hard. Thank you for that. And I'm glad you had a great time!

Hi Rob! Getting caught up now:

I follow your logic completely. It would have been irresponsible not to go to a second party.

Love love love all the MK decorations.

AHHH the Pooh gang! They are so adorable in their scarves. We definitely need a March Madness-esque tournament to determine who is the softest Disney character.

Merry ChristWishes...I can dig it.

Yesssss Blood on the Saddle is my jam. I didn't get to meet those guys this trip but I'm very glad you did!

EEEEEP ONCE UPON A CHRISTMASTIME!!!! My personal fave.

That last picture is amazing!! I love it!

Whew, I'm all caught up again! I got like 10 pages behind due to some craziness at work. Way too much to comment on at this point, I'll try to do better from here on out. ::yes:: I do need to say that after reading your MVMCP experience I think I need to go this year! I so want to meet Big Al.

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your magical trip with us. I'm really enjoying it. I too, went on a solo trip to Disneyland and loved it! Looking forward to the rest of your journey.

Ok I have been slacking catching up now.

I really enjoyed the snickerdoodle cookies and I for some reason love the hot chocolate they have there maybe its just being in WDW but it always to me at least tastes better.

ok on to the next one.

I really liked the christmas parade. The nutcrackers were really awesome.

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! I'm so delighted to WELCOME you and appreciate your kind words

Well HELLO right back and WELCOME!!!! It is always such a joy to welcome a new reader especially when it's your first... post ;) In all seriousness, I am deeply honoured and so glad you decided to post.

You are going to have a blast on your upcoming trip, no doubt. Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous.

And by all means Steal Away!!!

Haha, and I would totally support your right to do that. That's the beauty of Disney... something for every one. It was an awesome moment for me though.

It is STUNNING!!!

"I don't know that there is anything more beautiful than Main Street USA at night, complete with falling snoap."

...

:rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl: This made me laugh so darned hard. Thank you for that. And I'm glad you had a great time!

Awww I'm so glad Dani. Laughter is, afterall, the best medicine. And it was a wonderful evening and party.

WELCOME BACK COURTNEY!!! I can't wait to hear about Italy and super glad you made it home safe and sound!

AHHHh I love your thinking and wording. Totally irresponsible! YES!!!

So pretty and festive. It's hard to believe MK could ever look better.

They really are an adorable group. And I like that idea, I really do. It would be so interesting to line them up so they could be tested in sequence.

Lets make this happen!

One of the best songs EVA!! I really was in my glory meeting them for the very first time.

If there was no Boo to You, this would probably be my fav as well. I consider Move It Shake It to be only parade-like. But I'll tell ya, that Festival of Fantasy looks AMAZING!!

Aww thanks Courtney. I was pretty happy with that one my own self.

Haha, I think everybody had a lot of stuff going on lately with school breaks and stuff, so you're definitely not alone.
It really is a fun party Ariana and one every Disney fan should do at least once. Meeting Big Al was a HUGE deal for me ad really made the night special. But the second party... That was pretty special too.

Hello to you too. THANK YOU SO MUCH for reading. I'm so delighted you're enjoying. Solo trips sure can be amazing. So glad you enjoyed yours.

They were pretty darn good. And all you can eat is always a good thing. I like the cocoa to, BUT, I really find it sweet. I think they tried not to have it too hot as well (because of the warm weather probably) which detracted a bit from it. But you're right. Even basic stuff in Disney is better just by being in Disney.

Oh me too Alex. Really fun parade and the soldiers are unbelievably cool. A real must see in my opinion. It's obviously cool to see, but the coordination is so impressive.

Aww thanks. I was pretty pleased with that one myself.
