Yes, this is the only beef I've had with Universal, is that they tear down things. It is a shame, the Enchanted Oak, King Kong, and other attractions IMO should be preserved, and the new should be just additions, without tearing down older attractions. To me the Oak was not just a restaurant but a work of art, darn shame, but at least they did keep Mythos and this first area of the Lost Continent. To me messing with the Lost Continent at all was a shame, being that I think this is possibly the best themed area for any theme park I've ever seen. Oh well, they stopped listening to me a long time ago.
Enchanted Oak was one of my favorite counter service restaurants at any theme park out there. There's supposedly going to be another restaurant when Potter opens, hopefully it becomes a favorite.
Thunder Falls in Jurassic Park has very similar food thank goodness. I was bummed out when they tore down Enchanted Oak particularly since I thought that it would fit in nicely.
Thanks for the info on Thunder Falls. I would like to eat at Mythos but really don't want to be tied down to a reservation time.
I'm really bummed about enchanted oak My boys loved that place! The food and the atmosphere.

The only times that I've felt that there would be a need for Mythos reservations are when I'm with a large group. At those times, I'll stop by guest services in the morning of my visit and make my reservation at that time.
