oh, and michaels has really cute silver heart charms in the wedding section 20 for $1.99... there were actually two different kinds, one just says "love" and the other says "I love you". very cute... also they had for 19.99 a thing of those little tins 30 of them... and also for 19.99 a set of 12 round cd tins... maggie

That's what I was talking about in an earlier post---the Xyron stuff. It's the permanent glue tape and it's $2.99 a roll of 50 ft. at my Big Lots. Is that a really good price? I've noticed that Big Lots has really gone into scrapbooking lately. Our store has almost a whole aisle devoted to scrapbook things.....just in time for me to get interested in off all things....Scrapbooking! Yea! They had so many cute packages of things for $1 here, I don't remember what they're called, but the things you dress up the pages with. My local Dollar General sells a basic 12 x 12" scrapbook binder for $5, and they also carry "Memory Album" refill pages (20 per pkg) of the 12 x 12" size for $3. They are a brand called SCRAPBOOKING FUNDAMENTALS.

You guys are a killer!
I went to big Lots! Got the coolest thing.. it's called a Carryall Bag. It looks like a big ol' pencil case. Except they are big enough to hold 8x11 paper.
And it's pretty sturdy. $1.99

Then I find a Xyron Sticker maker starter kit..Xyron 500 for $19.99.
Next, a couple of embellishments (pretty picked over) and a school days scrap pack for $1.99.
I really wasn't going to do any more damage...

Thanks to this post I decided to drive to Big Lots.

Our big lots had those Xyron double sided tape tabs. 750 in a box for $2.99. Those clear blue boxes the tabs come in are cute, and I like how I can snap them together. They also had Xyron laminating pouches.

They also had the nicest K and Company 12x12 album kits for $9.99. They had a vintage looking travel album, a pretty yellow album with a pale yellow ribbon on the front and a pretty floral album. All the kits came with paper and stickers. They had some vintage looking K and Co. 6x6 albums kits, too.

I was hoping to get some paper packs, but all our store had were old cartoony looking papers. I was also hoping to find a Xyron type machine or refills, but they never got any in.

They did have some nice K and Co. stickers though.

Now I'm going to have to keep checking at Big Lots. I really thought those K and Co. 12x12 album kits were really nice for only $9.99.

Edited to add this.. I saw some cute Disney themed talking picture frames at Big Lots for only $5.99. They had Mickey, Princess and Pooh. There may have been one more, but I don't remember. Do you think it's cute?

The Mickey's head bobbles, too.

I ALMOST bought that picture frame - but passed it up. I may see if our other Big Lots has it. I was a little disappointed at the big lots by my work (it looked pretty picked through), so I'm going to try the one at the other end of town that doesn't get as much traffic because its not right by the mall! I did get some 12x12 cardstock, some puffy sticky alphabet letters, and some neat white paper with a kind of ribbon pattern on them.

I just got back from my BigLots and they had junk. I was really bummed. I hope it was just picked over and they will get some more stock in later.
