Too good not to share.

Today's Daily Deal at Michaels is 50% off All Scrapbook Paper pads:

http://weeklyad.michaels.com/

And, if you look to the right, there's a coupon for 25% off all purchases, including sales items. I called my local Michael's and they tell me that, yes, I can combine the Daily Deal and the coupon. I did some math and here's what I come up with:

12x12 DCWV Pads - Reg. $19.99, today $7.50 (19.99 - 50% = 9.99, 9.99 - 25% = 7.50)

8x8 DCWV Pads - Reg. $14.99, today $5.63

4x6 DCWV Pads - Reg. $9.99, today $3.75

You might want to call your local store and make sure the deal is going on there as well.

Just sharin' ...

I just checked out at Michaels with 5 large 12 x 12 paper pads (that I probably didn't need ;)) for a bargain price of $40.81. Considering I bought 372 pieces of paper, that is about .11 cents a sheet. Not bad considering about half of the paper is the glittered DCWV, speciality paper. I am not sure my husband will think that is a huge bargain though? Buffy, would you check my math? :rotfl2:

Glad I could be of service!!

I was originally going to Michael's for the Bazzilll sale (40% off and another 25%) but caught this bargain. The thing is, I DO NOT NEED paper. I have paper up the wazoo! I was only going to buy about $5.00 worth of the Bazzill to fill in some colors. But who can resist DCWV for $7.50?

And, on top of this, I am going to a scrapbook convention in Lancaster next weekend.

Someday, one of us will be featured on Hoarders!

Hang on, I need some Rum first!!

40.81 for you, not sure what your tax rate is so who knows what it is for me.

Great deal, but I'm on a spending ban. I've got a Disney race to pay for!!

Michelle, is cruising for a spot on the naughty mat isn't she???

I've got the rum!!! ;)

Well, had I know about that earlier, I would have ran to town...but I do have oral surgery to pay for next week...so I guess I better handle that first!!

But awesome deal!!!

I think we all need some more rum -- and some more money
too bad I can't make it to Micheal's today

I might be on a ban when my husband sees how much I have spent the last few months on crafty fun?? :rotfl2:

Did someone say more rum? Maybe Michael's should start selling rum with their paper??

the Great Math Debacle of 2012 is the MAW/Big Give interest thread, it was a fun night :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I went to Michael's also. After using the coupon, I paid for my stacks, then looked at my receipt because it seemed like too much money, and got back in line to have things fixed. Because my stacks didn't automatically come up at 50% off, the clerk had to manually enter the discount for each stack. When she did that, it made it so the 25% off coupon didn't work. What they ended up doing to get around it was refunding everything, and then giving me 75% off each stack. I paid $5 for each of my stacks! A very good day at Michael's for me!

I know I’ve read numerous accounts of poor customer service at Michael’s. I appreciate Michael's taking care of it so quickly for me.

Also, I was very surprised to see numerous stacks of 8 1/2x11 paper.

Good thing you checked your receipt!

Yes, Michael's can be wishy washy with service and discounts. You really have to stay on top of them.

I was secretly hoping for $5 a stack too? They did the 50%, then 25% though which made them 7.50 each. I am still debating if I am going to return one or two stacks?
