Yeah the do go through phases. She still loves Bam though. She still wants a new skate board for Christmas. She just also wants a pair of black pants with chains or strings or dog collar looking things hanging all off the side.

Oh yeah, the Hot Topic clothing. They just put one of those stores in our mall. My dd and her friend went in there to look around. Ddf's mother and I were tagging on behind. The mother stayed out in the mall area, I wandered into the store and found dd and her friend. Dd looks around her, looks at me, and says "Mom, why did you come into this store?" with that look on her face, like You Nerd, You're a Mom, You don't belong in here.

when I go into Hot Topic with my DD who is now 16...I point out to her that many of the t shirts etc. there are reproductions of ones that I had when they were new hahaha

I love browsing in Hot Topic and their clothing is very good quality. I wish I wasn't too old for the stuff.

Also, they have GREAT renaissance/halloween costumes. Very nicely made.

He gets "someone", all the time.... He's been told he looks like the lead singer of Nirvana - Kurt Cobain, John Malkovich, Mikhail Baryshnikov ... he's been told soooo many people!

Im going to let him know he also looks like Kevin Bacon. Maybe I wont - all these moviestars he is told he looks like makes his head big....
