EMM September 2019

Is there any new information about why it still says no tables available for Sept 2019.
(I couldn’t figure out how to post this in the EMM thread..there was no button anywhere and it wouldn’t let me reply to moderator ..help!)

EMM has been canceled for September. There are several pages of people posting about their experience with it.

I just got a call from Disney re: my 9/1 EMM booking and they told me it has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict, they will be having EHM that morning instead. They provided excellent compensation though. I'm getting a refund (obviously) plus a free breakfast (I had the choice between Crystal Palace and Plaza - I chose CP) and 8 fastpasses for each member of my party to use all day at MK on the 8 attractions that are part of EMM (I can use them any way I want for those 8 attraction, i.e. I could ride Mine Train 8 times if I want). I'm super stoked because I had booked 1 extra EMM for my week unsure which morning to keep and they have made the decision for mean and I'm getting a free meal and a bunch of fastpasses. Plus, it won't interfere with me booking my 3 normal fastpasses for that day, so I will have 11 in total. I'm stoked.

As someone who refuses to pay for upcharge events I think it is refreshing that they are likely adding more free EMH in place of hard ticket events. It does throw a wrench in my PPO BoG reservation plan, but I’ll take an extra hour in the parks on multiple days for that...happily.

How come you refuse to pay for upcharge events? Not judging, just curious. I used to be one of those...why would I if I don't have to. But I'm considering EMM when we visit again after our trip this June. It didn't work with how I planned our park days on this trip otherwise I would have tried the one in MK.

Mostly because we are a family of six and we simply can’t afford it.

Fair enough! I understand. I'm a family of three, so the cost is easier to handle, especially since I'm a FL resident.
