Unfortunately, I think lots of folks continue to use them based on past reputation and advertising. A $25 sign up bonus doesn't make up for a 0.6% difference in interest.
I have been with HSBC since February and have been very happy. They have consistently raised rates before or immediately after other banks - very competitive. They offer an ATM card, online access, easy internet software, prompt bank transfers, etc. You can get a free checking account if you need one too. The customer service reps I've spoken with on the phone are very knowledgable and friendly.hiwaygal said:So who are the top 10?
I'm really curious...I would split up what's in the ING if I knew of others...
