Can someone please explain to me how you go about getting into the Evening Magic Hours at the park. For Sun Jan 8th we're going to Epcot during the day, Ohana for dinner at 7:20 and then EMH at Magic Kingdom. Does it matter what time we arrive and do we need to have anything with us to go in? I read somewhere that you have to pick up wristbands 2 hours before but we won't be able to do that because we have a large group and we have reservations. Sorry for the possibly silly ? but it is the one that keeps popping up that i'm not sure bout.
Thank you Thank you Thank you

To the the EMH bracelets for, say, the MK, you just need to be in the park before the official park closing time. They start giving out the bracelets 2 hours before closing.

so what happens if we're not out of dinner in time and the park closes...there is no way to get in?

I think people can keep coming into the park until closing, especially on a EMH night.

thanks joanna :)
if anybody finds anything out for sure that'd be great. otherwise i might have to change my ADR for Ohana

If you have a ticket, they will let you in and then tell you where you can pick up a bracelet. When we were there two weeks ago, we needed to show our "keys to the world" room key and we got our bracelets. They only had two stations in MK.

but can you arrive after the regular closing of the park and still get in. our dinner ADRs at Ohana are at 7:20 and we won't make it into the park before it closes to the public at 8....just don't want to end up getting turned away when we get there

You can basically arrive at the park anytime, even after the "regular" closing. After the regular closing, they will allow you in if you have your KTTWC and direct you where to go to get your wrist band. I believe they hand out the wrist bands till an hour before the extended closing time, but our last trip was in May so my time might be off or my memory of the sign that said this may be wrong. I am positive that as long as you had your KTTWC that proved you were a resort guest and had Park Hoppers (or had been at the EMH park that day) you were let in even after "regular closing."
