Am I stupid :guilty: or is figuring out the EMH hours really confusing when looking at the calendars.

I think, thanks to this site's calendar, I know what mornings and evenings are having EMH during my stay.

Is the eEMH 3 hours long? I've read of people staying in MK til 3am. I am coming over Easter - but MK closes at 11pm - so that means I'd have til 2am at MK. Right?

If I understand correctly: I add 1 hr to the morning park schedule for mEMH and 3 hours to each park's schedule for eEMH.

Just trying to nail this down. TIA everyone!!!

Oh, and based on my limited understanding - THERE IS NO eEMH at ANY parks on Saturday, April 7th????

Yeah, some nights the MK has a 3 hour EMH and if the MK closes at 11, the park is open till 2. We hit a night like that exactly last week (last Sunday lol).

You do add one hour to the mornings. So for the MK, the park would open at 8 rather than at 9 for resort guests.

Last summer I hit the MK during a 3 hour EMH and the park closed at 12 that day so the EMH was until 3 am. ;)

I am not sure about April 7th, I would have to check the site again.

Yep, you got it right. Morning EMH means that you may enter the park one hour before the posted opening time, and Evening EMH adds three hours to the posted closing time.

A couple of things I'd note regarding EMH: (1) Not all attractions in the park are open during morning and evening EMH, but the headliners are usually open: (2) morning EMH tends to be much less crowded than evening EMH, which can be quite crowded. (I have this to be especially true of Epcot during Friday evening EMH.)

Enjoy.

It is NOT your fault that you are confused about EMH. The Disney calendar is poorly set up, and it's too bad they don't just tell you on the calendar if EMH is morning or evening.

Thank you all for your input. It IS confusing because one calendar says that Friday night is generally the EMH at Epcot. But, when I check my specific dates, Friday, April 6th is the MK evening EMH.

I suppose the EMH schedule is different for Easter weekend :confused3

Loves Disney, THANK YOU so much for posting all of that in one place!! Now I have an easy place to find all of that info.

Now all I need is for a WDW resort room (ANY room) to open up on the night of my arrival 4/4. As of now, my reservations start on the 5th and I might end up at the airport hotels:( (Thinking positive thoughts about it!! I will sleep in a Disney room on 4/4).

Thanks again everyone.

Dan,

Awesome link! Thank you. My daughter and I travel the world (the real world, not WDW) several times a year and I am able to understand and follow Passport laws, Department of State instructions, customs declarations, etc...
BUT, WDW is, by far, the most challenging trip to plan and execute without spending too much and without too much pre-plan stress.

No wonder this site is so polular!:thumbsup2
