I agree with the theory to avoid the EMH parks at all costs! BUT, my family likes to go to MK the last night of our trip. MK is slated for EMH in the morning for that day. Have you found that the evenings of those days aren't quite as bad?? I suppose it's wishful thinking that all those folks that got to MK early in the morning would be tired by around 5:00pm and would want to go back to rest.....

Anyone found this to be true??? TIA!!

A lot do just that! A lot of people actually go to the morning EMHs, stay until lunchtime, and then leave. I say go for it..it's your last night, so go and enjoy.

I like to head to a park that had evening EMHs the previous night. It is usually less crowded because a lot of resort guests were there for the extra hours the night before. It works pretty well. The morning EMHs don't seem to be nearly as bad. But the evening ones can get really crowded.

Diane's ideas are right on the money.

One thing to consider is what time of year you'll be there.. obviously the resorts are more crowded at some times of year than others.. and the more people staying at Disney resorts -- the thicker the EMH (morning or evening) crowds are likely to be.

A lot of people with non-park hopping tickets will go to the EMH park for the entire day. If you have APs or park hoppers, morning EMH is well-worth getting up for. We've never found evening EMH to be worthwhile. 15 yo ds goes to evening EMHs simply because he refuses to get up before noon when he's on vacation!
