EMH, Rider Swap ?

So we've never done the rider swap thing but I'm thinking about it for our next trip, I recongize these probably seem like silly questions. I am considering doing it during a morning EMH at HS. Sorry if these are dumb questions...
(1) I'm assuming they do Rider Swap during EMH?
(2) Do you have to have a FP+ to use Rider Swap (based off a previous post, the standby lines don't seem that long in the AM)?
(3) If you can use Standby does Rider 2 still get to go through the FP line?
(4) I've heard different reports about where the second rider / family can stay...I thought it was a stamped FP...am I wrong?

1. They can, yes.
2. There are no FPs used during EMH.
3. See #2.
4. The Swap pass is a separate card.
