EMH QUESTION

Hi All! We are looking to go to Disneyland for 4 nights in Sept. In order to keep costs down, I was thinking we would stay off site for the first 2 nights then move over to Disneyland Hotel for the last 2 nights. Heres my question: If we buy our tickets from a 3rd party vendor and a room only reservation for those last 2 nights are we still eligible for EMH during our stay while on property? I just read that MM and EMH are two totally different things. In WDW the answer is yes but I'm finding subtle difference with rules at DLR so I want to be sure before we book. Also are there rooms discounts to be had for late September and if so any idea when they would come out?

If you have a 3 day ticket it comes with one magic morning entry into Disneyland only. So, if your first or second day is a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (I think) you can use your magic morning.

Then if you check into the DLH prior to EMH starting on your third day you can use it the morning of your 3rd night in a hotel/1st night at DLH as well as your next two days.

EMH is for hotel guests only. MM is for visitors who have three-day or longer tickets, and it's DL only.

It doesn't matter from whom you buy your tickets. On-site is on-site and you get EMH every day you're a guest at the DLH. Including the day you check in AND the day you check out. So if you check in really, really early on the first day you're staying at DLH, you can get EMH that day, as well.

If you don't have a Disney Visa, then you can expect the discount to be released to the general public next week on June 26th. To save even more, Orbitz usually will offer the same discount and you can usually find an additional 15% off promo code.
