EMH Question

I'm going to DL Sept. 1 - 4. I'm going at the same time as two of my sisters. Sister A won a trip on the radio. The trip includes 2 nights at GCH and 3 days park admission (not hoppers). Sister A is taking her DS11, DH, Sister B and Sister B's DD14. They aren't planning to upgrade to hoppers since they are paying for two extra nights at GCH. I'm staying at the Carousel Inn and getting a 4-day hopper. The tentative plan is to go to DCA on Sept. 2, DL on Sept. 3 & 4. I'm aiming to hit my favorites in both parks on Sept. 1 (my arrival day).

My question is - if I borrowed one of their room keys on Friday the 4th to get into EMH at DCA before heading over to DL would there be any way to know that I'm not the one staying at GCH?

No, the room keys all have the guest names on them, so you will not be able to borrow one to get in

I don`t remember them checking the names on the room keys. We have stayed at the GCH many times and they would just have us hold up a room key for the whole family group. This was at the GCH turnstile to DCA. It`s up to you if you want to try.They allow 5 guests per room.

I think this depends on the CM at the turnstile. We've had times where they haven't checked room keys at all, other times where one room key for our group is enough and times where they wanted to see everybody's room key and they did check it against our APs (I would assume the same would hold true for a ticket).

Are they not planning on using EMH themselves on the 4th? If they are it could really mess them up if you had one of their keys and they got a CM who wanted to see keys for everybody in their party.

They aren't getting park hoppers and plan to go to DL that day. EMH is only at DCA on Friday.

Each time we have gone through the gates for EE the CM has looked at Name and Ticket ID Photo plus the ID listed on the room keys for each person.

Disney has taken a hard stand and has been cracking down on fraud.
I don't recommend using one of their room keys.
If you do, be prepared to be turned away and have them keep the room key and possibly your ticket.

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'm going to try it. It's possible Sister A's DH won't be going due to some health issues. If they can decide in the next 10 days I'll cancel my reservation and add onto theirs and this will all be moot anyway.
