EMH question

We have never done the evening magic hours and need to be sure on this.
On our 1st day, we plan on going to dinner at Chef Mickey's and then head to MK. MGM is doing their late hours and was thinking of going there later. MGM closing at 8:30 but with EMH it would be 11:30. What happens if we get there are 9:00. As long as it is not filled to capacity, can we still get in?

Yep, no problem. You'll just have to show your resort key when you get there to get your wristbands. The park will not be full, don't worry about that. Have fun!
