EMH question

Hi All! I get the jist that the parks that have the EMH are historically more crowded on that day but is it safe to say that if a particular park opens an hour early then it might be less crowded in the evening and if a park extends the hours at night then the am may be less crowded. I know, sound like I'm splitting hairs but I've already done some planning without refering to the EMH schedule and afraid I may lead my peeps straight into the droves IF the whole day is usually higher crowds. We go April 29-May4 '06. Any thoughts would be great!

I'm not sure of the answer to that (though it makes sense), but I have heard that if a park has an evening EMH that the following morning is less crowded than usual.

There are lots of opinions on EVENING EMH.

But THIS statement is nearly unchallenged:

The MORNINGS (EMH or not) are the BEST time to go to ANY theme-park.

Many people REFUSE to get up early on any vacation day.
So if you'd "guess" that a morning EMH will "fill" the park that much earlier, in practice, it is not the case.

That "extra" hour is MUCH too early for many guests to arrive.

Sooo, if you want to get more "done" in a park with less people to slow you down, go EARLY... any day you are there.

For me, since EMH's are FREE, and NOBODY can predict EXACTLY what a constantly-changing population WILL or WILL NOT do on any given date,
if I want to go to an evening EMH, I go!
I can always LEAVE if there's a MOB.
But, you know, I can ALWAYS find a ride or two (FP queues are in operation) if I want to.

If it turns out to be UN-crowded... I'm READY !!!
(Not much ELSE going on anyway.)

If you go at a busy time the evening EMH can be really crowded. We have had a lot of success getting to all the parks before opening (EMH or regular). You can get a lot done is a few early morning hours before the big crowds arrive later on.
