Hi,
We are staying off site this year, however we are using unexpired days from our park hopper plus passes from two years ago when we stayed on site. Are we able to attend either morning or evening EMH?

Thanks

EMH is a perk for onsite guests. If you are not staying on the Disney property at one of the Disney hotels, you are not eligible for EMH. You don't have a room ID with the proper dates on it.

Sorry.

Wow, I thought this was a great question until I got my room key from a couple of weeks ago, and yep, the dates are right on it. But (and I am NOT encouraging any 'illegal disney' behavior), I've never had a CM look at my card that close when I went to MORNING EMH's. But I would never try it myself as I always play by the rules....

For evening EMH, they scan your room key. If it has already been scanned, you don't get a wrist band. I've had them check my room ID for EMH in the morning at all four parks. Haven't done EMH in the AM for the water parks yet.

No, only one person per room ID. Some people try to slip non-resort guests in on their room ID. Or try to get the entire family on one ID. Once it has been scanned for that night, no others can use it to get the wrist band.

This is the reason you need to get room IDs for everyone in your room, including the little kids aged 3 and over.

We were there last moth for a 2 night stay and used the evening emh, nobody scanned our resort ID's, just took a quick look and slapped the band on our wrist.
