EMH on first night or "Take it Easy"?

We haven't purchased our airline tickets yet but are looking at arriving in Orlando around 5:45. We will be renting a car but my husband will probably already have that taken care of as he is most likely flying in from London earlier that afternoon. We are staying at Caribean Beach and have a dinner reservation at Shutters at 9:45. (We are late eaters and night owls). Should we keep those and stick with the plan or start the vacation with a bang and go to the EMH at Epcot? It is the first time we will be visiting in September and we are kind of disappointed that the parks close so early. We will be there a week so I am sure that we will have time do everything we love but at the same time I don't want to look back and say "We could have had 3 more hours at Epcot." Thanks in advance for all your advice!

I am all for every second in the parks, so I would vote for the EMH. When we went in May we had planned on hanging by the pool and relaxing the day we came into town (we were also there over a week). We ended up at MK less than 2 hours after landing in Orlando
