EMH no writstbands?

I remember seeing that they were testing out using id's instead of the wristbands for extra magic hours Feb 24-29th or something like that. How did that go and did they decide to continue with that policy?

My DW and I didn't care for it and the cast members we chatted with didn't seem to like it much either. One was even taking a impromptu poll. the vote was for the wrist bands rather than without. I have not heard of an "official" response so far.

We were at EPCOT for EMH on Friday. There were A LOT of CMs around making sure people knew to take out their cards. For example, when we were walking up to the Land, there were CMs at the bottom of the hill (I hate that hill, btw) telling us to get out our cards and CMs at the top reminding us to get out our cards then finally CMs inside the doors checking them. It seems like a lot of extra people were there to make sure the guests understood what was happening. I'm sure if they continue to use this policy instead of the wristband they will have to come up with some other way to let people know what to do instead of having so many CMs there just to tell people what to do.

BUT, I didn't mind having to do it. I don't really care either way.

I went to MK, DHS & Epcot evening EMH's last week, but I'd never been to EMH's with wristbands so couldn't compare... I was a little concerned about having to keep my key convenient instead of putting it away safely, but not really much worse than having to have it handy for getting fastpasses during regular hours... that said, I think the PPP with wristbands was much easier.
