EMH/MM on Saturday Morning - how early to arrive?

Our first park day will be this coming Saturday and we plan to use our Magic Morning for DL since we are staying off site and we figure it's the best day to use it considering regular park opening is 8AM.

We will be up early and chipper and ready to go as we'll have had Friday to arrive and unwind and get our ducks all lined up.

What time though should we aimed for arriving at security if we want to be near to or at the front of the line for park entry? I was thinking the earlier the EMH/MM the less crowded but that might be a myth.

We got there last Saturday at 7:35? We were maybe 10 back? I think if wanted to be first we would have needed 7am. That being said we bee lined for Hyperspace and we we got thereally the incoming vehicles were still empty.

Sorry the park opens for EMH/MM at 7AM on Saturday so that is confusing - were you there just for regular park opening?

Sorry - I just realize that you were 10 back in the line when you arrived and likely just went right in, correct? I figured there be'd a line well before 7AM even but perhaps not?

Doh! Sorry 6:35. We early entried every day. Had we wanted to be at the gate we would have needed to be there by 6 i think. Sorry I guess I am still tired from vacation

We will aim to leave the hotel around 6 then, that should get it us there around 6:15 which is early enough, did you find you got a lot done during the early entry on Saturday morning at DL? Sounds like you had a great trip. We considered staying on site to take advantage to EMH as well but we just can't handle the 4 of us in one room for 8 nights! Maybe someday...

Sounds like you had a great trip. We considered staying on site to take advantage to EMH as well but we just can't handle the 4 of us in one room for 8 nights! Maybe someday...

Lol..we were 5 fir 8 nights...but when we were actually in the room our eyelids were usually closed! We did maybe two runs of hyperspace then rode star tours i think we did Buzz too. ..then we did matterhorn as a family and kids road again as single riders. I lined up by 7:45 for hyperspace fast passes..that line got big fast. I think we had like a 9:40 return on those? We were satisfied with what we accomplished. ..our other dlr morning was fantasy land based but it was the Tuesday so likely less busy.

I agree I noticed a difference in people out and about in the 7 vs.8 am by 10 I would assume a dramatic difference. Have a blast.

I think you doing your MM on a Saturday is for sure the best option to maximize it!! When we went last May there were less people lining up for MM/EMH if the entry time was 7am compared to the 9am MM/EMH. A considerable difference. Have a wonderful time

Definitley do the MM at the earliest time. DL is the more crowded when MM and the 7am opening is harder for people to get up and out (though, there will be lots of people). By 6:30am there will be lines....not huge ones, but lines. 6:15 sounds like a good plan!

I like to be one of the first on the parks and generally plan to arrive 45 minutes before park opening...so, I would be there at 6:15 too.

Arrived at security at 6:15 and the place was EMPTY!! By 6:30 the line still was not long. Got right up the gate and were very first to ride Space. showing up at 6:30 would still have you maybe 10 back in line as others reported.
